Apostle John Brannon is anointed of God to impart and activate the gifts of the Spirit in order to raise up strong ministries in the Body of Christ. This gifted visionary, with a true apostolic and prophetic call on his life, has a desire to infiltrate the world with the Word of God. He is dedicated to equipping the saints and training ministers to fulfill the call of God in their lives. Through his transition from the pastoral to the apostolic Apostle Brannon is bridging the gap between denominations regarding living in the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit. He accepts his charge to raise up a fresh new movement of holiness parenting. As a spiritual father to traditional churches and denomination-bound ministries he brings life into the beauty of holiness. Many in Christendom believe there is a new ‘move of God’ for the 21st century, renewing the fivefold ministry, and calling apostles and prophets to usher in this latter day awareness. The membership of Living Word Ministries International of John Brannon’s Ministries has witnessed this ‘move of God’ in our Apostle. With the evidence of “signs and wonders”, Bishop Brannon has been transformed, along with his ministry, for the edifying and perfecting of the saints by the Holy Spirit. Under the leadership of this man of God, not only do we believe in the work of the Holy Spirit, but we also regularly invite Him to come into our midst to bring supernatural power. It is commonplace, therefore, to observe healing, demonic deliverance, spiritual warfare, prophecy, outpouring of the Spirit, spiritual mapping, prophetic acts, fervent intercession and travail, and so on in our newness as an apostolic church family. Last year, God added three ministries to us beyond the boundaries of this state with our Apostle traveling out of the state and country, preaching this new move of God, igniting the flame in the hearts of young people to get excited about God. Further evidence of this is present in the recent subordinate ministry additions of LWMI: Word Aflame LWMI, Africa, Inner Courts Family Christian Center, Ghana, Africa; LWMI Freeport Bahamas; Word Aflame LWMI in Atlanta, GA; Inner Courts of Praise, VA; and Redeeming Word, Tanzania, Africa, the most recent addition in 2008. With present and future growth over the last year, the Lord God has blessed LWMI with possibilities of expansion into Northern and Southern India, Kenya, Africa, Nigeria, as well as future possibilities of expansion into the United Kingdom.

Bishop John Brannon Senior Pastor, Overseer JBM and LWMI
Greetings to all that read this section, as the Senior Pastor and overseer of Living Word Ministries International or as we prefer to say LWMI; I am grateful that God all mighty has giving us the opportunity this spread this glorious gospel, one soul at a time. We believe in, preach, teach and support the "Five Fold Ministries" as mentioned in Eph 4:11and 1Cor12:28-29 (NKJV). These 5 offices of the anointed gifts of the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers were placed into to the church for the perfecting of the saints. LWMI continues to expand with the in placing of the office "Teacher" from Dothan Al. We are joined by one of the greatest teacher anointings that I have had the pleasure of knowing. I am referring to Elder Shawn Mceldery. We also have placed in the office of the Prophet, Prophet Miriam Brannon of Colorado Springs, CO. As God continues to expand our ministries we are joined by All Nations Temple Pastored by Pastor Colin Johnson in Lathonia, GA. We know that God is expanding our territory and are humbled that God has allowed LWMI to share in the spreading of His gospel. I ask that you continue to pray for us and our Leadership. We look forward the next phase of what God has for us, near and far.
Word from the Prophet Blessings from the Prophet’s Corner of LWMI, I First Lady Miriam Brannon, want to say God is moving in LWMI our Anniversary Celebration, and Ecclesiastical Elevation were an awesome occasion especially for myself. I know God has called, anointed, and appointed me in the spirit sometime ago, but it was done in the natural in the elevation. I am excited where God is taking LWMI. Closing out this quarter we had a time in the Lord in our Leadership conference with Ambassador Dr. Sharon Edmond. She minister unto us and B.I.U. blessed us with their rendering of selections. Phyllis Goss LWMI Pastor
We as a congregation have gone through both personal and collective trials and tribulations. God has given our Senior Pastor the theme for past years in (2007) The Power of Oneness (2008) The More Excellent Way (2009) Developing the Gifts for the Equipping of the Saints (2010) Bringing His Presence to Earth We don’t know exactly what God has in store for LWMI; however we do know that by the power of His might and the move of His Holy Spirit he is calling us to step up and step out on what He has predestined us to do, together. Taking a quote from one of our once youth and now young adult simply states, “As a team we can accomplish the dream”. YES! - We are many members but one body. (1 Corinthians 12:12 [KJV]). I challenge you to step up and step out on what God has destined you to do and to seek God like you have never done before and “Watch God Move.”
Sr. Pastor & Wife Appreciation Sr. Pastor and Wife appreciation was held Saturday, August 29, 2009. Hear our hearts - Our Sr. Pastor and First Lady give so much of themselves to God’s people, we just wanted to take a moment to honor you, to let you know that we have noticed the wonderful and unique quality of friendliness in your lives. We have seen the way you interact with others around you, the insightful way you encourage the discouraged, make visitors feel welcome, or simply offering a kind word to the young child that you are speaking with. Ralph Waldo Emerson said: “A friend is a person with whom I may think aloud”. A Friend, yet so much more– This is how we think of you both. Thank you for allowing the love of Christ to show through your life, and we trust that God will continue to use you both to bring honor to His name. Matthew 5:16 (KJV) “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” We love you very much. In addition to Pastor appreciation, Saturday was also the evening for entertainment, Christian style. With Comedian, Shed-Can I Vent– G, making the crowd howl, and Singer Norsia Harrison blessing the crowd with song. It was a great night had by all.

XvvÄxá|táà|vtÄ XÄxätà|ÉÇ In the continuation of our support, belief and understanding of the necessity of the five fold ministry of such, Apostle John Brannon, by the witness of others and unction of the Holy Spirit, do recognize and charges Prophet-Designate First Lady Miriam J. Brannon to do the same for the continuation of the edifying and equipping of the Body of Christ. “And He set first apostles, secondly prophets thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues” (1 Cor 12:28 [KJV]). We, the Leadership comprising of Bishops, Apostles, Prophets, Elders and the members of Living Word Ministries International of John Brannon’s Ministries, stand in witness and support of this election and sending of Ecclesiastical Elevation to the office of the Prophet; First Lady Miriam Brannon for the fulfilling of the office of the Prophet in this ministry.

Attire of the Bishop, Apostle and Prophet Professional attire is so commonplace that its eloquent nonverbal communication slips into the background. Letter carriers, police officers, military personnel, and fast food restaurant employees all wear immediately identifiable uniforms. Similarly, Catholic clergy and men and women in many religious orders wear special clothes and other articles as a sign of the work to which they have been called to dedicate their lives. Bishops, too, wear special items that set them apart as bishops. Many of these vestments and accessories can be traced far back in the history of the Church, and some can be traced even further back in time.
CASSOCK A garment reaching from shoulders to ankles, the cassock is closed with buttons along the length of the front, and with the familiar white clerical collar around the neck. The color of the cassock indicates the office of the wearer: white for the pope, red for cardinals, purple for bishops, black with purple highlights for monsignors, and black for priests. There is usually a wide, belt-like sash, called the fascia, around the waist. The sash is usually the same color as the cassock. Today, the cassock is considered more decorative than functional.
CINTURE The cincture is a symbol of Christ. It speaks of the Prophet willingness to “wash his brethren’s feet,” pursuant to the example of the Lord.
COLLAR Clerical collar symbolizes being yoked to Christ, as a called and ordained servant of the Word of God.
ROCHET / SURPLICE The rochet is a white outer garment reaching from the shoulders to below the waist. There is sometimes an embroidered decoration at the hem of both the garment and the sleeves. It is distinguished from the very similar surplice by having tighter sleeves. Surplice - A large-sleeved tunic of half-length, made of fine linen or cotton, and worn by all clergy. The wide sleeves distinguish it from the rochet and the alb; it differs from the alb inasmuch as it is shorter and is never girded. It is ornamented at the hem and the sleeves either with embroidery, with lace-like insertions, or with lace. The surplice belongs to the liturgical vestment in the strict sense, and is the vestment most used. It is the choir dress, the vestment for processions, the official priestly dress of the lower clergy, the vestment worn by the priest in administering the sacraments, when giving blessings, at Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, etc; in the last-mentioned cases it is the substitute for the alb, which, according to present custom, is worn only at Mass and a few other functions.
CHIMERE This garment is the symbol of the Prophet (Preacher). As the priest carries the prayers of the people to God, the prophet carries the Word of God back to the people.
ROBE The Robe is an outer garment and is the most evident vestment in the Consecrational Attire range. Unique to each Bishop, carrying the colors of his office (usually Purple and Gold but may vary depending o the individual), this vestment is le to be worn at all clerical ceremonies and by other clergy members, not only Bishops. Overlay - The Overlay is much like the Stole, only shorter in length, and worn underneath or in place of the stole outside f the Consecrational ceremony. The Overlay contains the symbol of the Bishop’s office or of his church.

STOLE Stole - A liturgical vestment composed of a strip of material from two to four inches wide
and about eighty inches long. It has either a uniform width throughout, or is somewhat narrower towards the middle, widening at the ends in the shape of a trapezium or spade. A small cross is generally sewed or embroidered on the stole at both ends and in the middle; the cross, however, is prescribed only for the middle, where the priest kisses the stole before putting it on. There are no express precepts concerning the material of the stole, but silk, or at least a halfsilk fabric, is most appropriate. Stoles for festivals are generally ornamented with embroidery, especially what are called vesper stoles". The origin of the Stole is pre-Christian but since the sixth Century it has been prescribed to be worn by all clergy. In the seventh Century the Orarium, or Stole, was worn by all ministers celebrating worship services and was worn crossed over the alb, secured in place by the girdle. When worn by a deacon, the modern Stole is nearest to its original form, resting on the left shoulder, symbolic of the towel or napkin from which it evolved, and under the right arm leaving the right side free of encumbrance to attend to Sacramental duties.. The Stole is the symbol of the Preacher. It is thinner in width than the tippet.
CROSIER The Crosier: Also called the shepherd’s staff, the crosier is made of either metal or wood, with a curved crook at its top. Reminiscent of the staff which shepherds use in tending their flocks, the crosier reminds both bishops and their the people of the diocese that he stands in their midst as Christ, the Good Shepherd. The staff is to be held in procession, during the Gospel and the homily, in receiving religious vows and promises or a profession of faith, and when bestowing a blessing except when the blessing includes the laying on of hands.
PECTORAL CROSS Pectoral cross: Another prominent feature of the bishop’s insignia is the pectoral cross. This is usually worn suspended from a chain of gold or silver around the bishop’s neck. Often, when wearing a suit, the bishop keeps the cross in his left pocket over his heart. This chain is therefore suspended across his black shirt. When wearing the cassock, rochet, and mozzetta, the cross is suspended from a cord which hangs forward with the cross, around his neck, and down the back to the length of the mozzetta. The cord is usually braided with green and gold. The “Ceremonial of Bishops” instructs the bishop that the pectoral cross on this cord is worn over his alb and either under or over the chasuble when he celebrates Mass.
RING The Ring: The ring symbolizes the bishop’s marriage to the Church and is the most important symbol of his office. The “Ceremonial of Bishops,” a book which gives bishops instruction for their liturgical responsibilities, identifies the ring as something “he is to wear always.”
THE BIBLE The inspired Word of God
PROPHET NABIY - hearing and speaking, mouth piece of God (Deut 18:18) NATAF - to let drop like rain; slow gentle process where the prophetic word comes upon us little-by-little MASSA - “hand of the Lord” that releases “burden of the Lord” Ra’ah - seer to see CHOZEN - “a beholder in vision”
Numbers 12:6-8 (King James Version) 6
And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. 7
My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.
With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
Amos 3:7 (King James Version) 7
Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

PASTOR Assistant Pastor Phyllis Goss has been elevated to the position of Pastor. The word itself is derived from the Latin word pastor which means shepherd. Ephesians 4:11 - Paul wrote "And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastor(s) and teachers" (KJV)
NEW MINISTRIES - Under LWMI ACTS 2:42-47
Elder Shaun Mceldery (left) , Bishop John Brannon (center) and Pastor Colin R. Johnson (far right) Collyers, GA
They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. 44All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. 46Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Dr. Sharon Edmond Visits: Leadership Conference In the last week of September, Living Word Ministries International of Colorado Springs had a very special gift from God. Dr. Sharon Edmond came to preach and teach to the lucky members of LWMI and visitors. With her, she brought national recording artists BIU, Brothers in Unity. Many people were set free and healed and instructed from the glorious event given to us as a blessing from God. She was here on September 24-26, 2009 and taught on many topics, including the character God requires of a Minister, 5 stages used to seal the character and develop the foundation in the ministry of a minister, the five fold of the Old Testament, and 5 Ascension gifts, Prophetic Connection, how to stay healed, and the secret to prophesying accurately. It was a blessed time by all. I was only able to attend for one day. She pulled me out of the crowd, placed her hands on my belly, and when I went home that night, demons that had been trying to take away from me, were finally gone once and for all. I can truly say, my life will never be the same again. ~ By Jami Nelson

Brothers in Unity David was excited when he wrote Psalm 133:1 - ” How good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity!” We all know that’s true, but what happens when these brothers can sing?! Well, add God to the mix and you have Brothers in Unity. BIU members Melvin, Terry, and AC Griffin not only share the bond of brotherhood, they also share a distinct sound that empowers the soul as the Lord’s anointing shines through in their music. Their new album, “STAND”, delivers their message loud and clear: Just Stand!! Growing up in a family of 10 children (seven boys and three girls), the brothers of BIU were a part of a big family in the small town of Hobgood, NC. With strong Christian parents at the helm, every member of the family learned early in life that going to church was a privilege , not Brother In Unity ministered an option. As their mother Evelyn had always exhibited dynamic talents as a singer and poet, to the members of LWMI there is no doubt that the brothers of BIU got it honest. Another dose of the music gene was during a special event Sept 24-26,2009. The brothers passed down from the father’s side of the family. Accie, Sr. wasn’t much of a singer, but his own father was the church musician and his mother was the praise and worship leader. It’s plain to see that a rock solid family background in music and in love for the Lord has given BIU a lot to be thankful for in its journey down the road to success. In the 1990’s Big T and AC put their inherited talents to the test and moved to Los Vegas as he duo Double Trouble. Singing at nightclubs, casinos, and other secular venues, the young men knew they weren’t fully experiencing all that God had for them. Realizing the true starting place for success and happiness, the two brothers totally gave their lives to Christ, moved back to North Carolina, and changed the name of their duo to Brothers in Unity. It was at this time that BIU completed itself by the addition of the youngest brother Melvin. Performing at every opportunity, the group’s contemporary style received great responses from young and old alike.

By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.
Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults.
Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then will I be blameless, innocent of great transgression.
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Isaiah 43:2 2
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
