Alli Webb recently opened Drybar in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. A founder and professional hair stylist, she began a side business called Straight-at-Home in 2008, which provided inhome blowouts, strictly on a referral basis. Before becoming a full-time mom to Grant and Kit, Webb had a career in public relations working with clients such as Faith Hill, Paul McCartney and Keith Urban. “The Drybar Guide to Good Hair for All,” authored by Webb, will be published in October 2016 by Abrams Publishing.

Krystal Coffman, DNP, ACNP-BC, was named the 2016 Winged Heart Award nursing recipient by the Clark County Medical Society. Coffman is a nurse practitioner at Spring Valley Hospital where she assesses critically ill neuroscience patients to aid neurologists with patients’ direction of care. She was honored for her expertise of neurological guidelines, her work in creating and implementing educational opportunities for the Valley Health System hospitals to teach health care providers as well as the public about stroke and neurological issues, and her work as chair of the Stroke Committee and the Valley Health System Donor Council.

Jesi Hilts, hairstylist and color expert for Jesi Hilts Hair at Body Spa West and Body Spa Green Valley, is vice president of online education for Neuma Beauty, a vegan, sustainable, cruelty-free, PETA-approved line of hair-care products that offer a complete and transparent ingredient deck. She is also artistic director of hair and makeup for the annual stop-human-trafficking benefit fundraiser Cultivating Beauty. The lead makeup artist for the Neuma Cosmo Prof show, Hilts is also partnering with Brandy Neugabauer Quinto for hair and makeup event services.

Jenna Consiglio, president and designer of JAECI, has opened JAECI Interactive Boutique in downtown Las Vegas. Featuring the JAECI signature jewelry for men and women, as well as additional lifestyle brands, the boutique also offers a café-style lounge complete with free Wi-Fi for sharing boutique experiences, a question wall where guests can interact anonymously with other visitors, and an interactive station designed to allow shoppers to discover their inner spirit animal and shop accordingly.

Nevada State Bank announced that Megan Comfort has been promoted to SBA/small business manager for Southern Nevada. Comfort will oversee statewide SBA lending, as well as the smallbusiness team in Southern Nevada. Comfort joined Nevada State Bank in 2005. Active in the business community, Comfort is a member of the Risk Management Association Las Vegas Chapter and is a graduate of Leadership Nevada, a Latin Chamber of Commerce program. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Grand Canyon Development Partners, a Las Vegas-based construction and real estate development and construction management company, has hired Leigh Ann Monk to serve as a project coordinator. Monk will be responsible for managing the delivery of small to large critical construction documents and organizing all project activities. Monk earned her Bachelor of Arts degree as a double major in marketing and management from Southeastern Louisiana University. She has received certifications with OSHA 30 and construction document technician from the Construction Specifications Institute.

The law firm of Hutchison & Steffen announced 11 of its attorneys were named to the 2016 Mountain States Super Lawyers and Rising Stars list, including Patricia Lee, who has been recognized for her work in general litigation. Ava M. Schaefer was named to the Mountain States Rising Stars list. To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less.

The inaugural Heroes With Heart dinner was held with NurseCore Home Health honoring Julie Pagano, RN, and Carmen Torres, LPN, both as Nurse of the Year. As a resource nurse for the western half of the United States, Pagano travels to other locations to audit and ensure their compliance with federal and state regulations. Torres loves being a nurse and compassionately caring for others and feels it is her calling in life. She has been a nurse for 16 years and she has worked for NurseCore for 14 years. Stacey Laricchia recently opened the second location of The Birthday Suit— the waxing salon she owns with her husband, Jason. Laricchia is active in the local community and credits her love of Las Vegas and her talented staff with the company’s success. Overseeing each aspect of the new location, Laricchia helped with the design and layout of the new space to best suit the needs of her customers, including an on-site children’s lounge since so many of her clients are mothers.

The Healthcare Horizons Scholarship is awarded by WellHealth Quality Care to two graduating Clark County School District seniors who will be studying medicine in college. The scholarship also allows for the two recipients to have a paid eight-week summer internship with WellHealth.
