3rd Tuhler Prayer By Luther King Ferguson

Lord Jesus Christ, hear my cry and consider my meditation Thank you that I have favor with you and man today All day long, people go out of their way to bless and to help me I have favor with everyone that I deal with today I receive preferential treatment and I have special privileges I stand before you; a weaker version of your reflection It’s your favorite child, Luther, marching the road of Resurrection Let a man think this, that, such as I am in word by prayers when I am absent, such will I be also in deed when I am present We are followers of God, as dear children For we walk by faith; not by sight, brethren Redeem the time, because the days are evil See that we walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise Above all, let’s take the shield of faith which is able to quench all darts of the wicked And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of god Let’s us not fight against each other (flesh and blood), but against principalities, powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places There is so much that we are entitled to, yet we receive so little Because in this time of spiritual warfare we are comfortable in the middle So Lord, let your thought and our hearts go hand in hand

I guess what I’m asking-show us how to take a stand And as for me, just as how Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness Lift me up the ladder of success – escalator style to the zenith And I will fight for you, sing for you, teach for you and reach for you Finally, family, farewell, work to be perfect, be of good comfort Be of one mind, live in peace, and the God of love and peace shall be with you Amen and amen.
