Dirk van der Kooij is famous for his 3D printed chairs made of residual plastic. You can find his chubby chairs in several museum collections and the Dutch King Willem Alexander even owns a few. Van der Kooij studied at the Design Academy in Eindhoven. In 2014, he opened a studio in Hembrugterrein in Zaandam.
