OUR FIRST FLIGHT

History of the Aeronautical Academy of the Philippines The AAP is the first and only aeronautical school in the bicol region and southern Luzon. AAP was founded on January 9, 1998 by a group of bicolanos with vast training and exposure in airline and tourism industries. The primary objective is to provide the residents of the bicol region and other neighboring provinces in southern Luzon with the opportunity to avail of the best quality aviation training and education at very affordable fees and assistance to would be graduates in embarking to a successful aeronautics, avionics and tourism careers. AAP started as aeronautical academy of the Philippines (AAP), inc. as approved by the securities and exchange commission (SEC) on January 28, 1998. The certificate of program registration was granted pursuant to republic act no. 98-03 dated January 23, 1998. 4


OUR GOALS To serve as a vehicle for TESDA/CHED in bringing aviation education to the grassroots. To provide apprenticeship and placement assistance to its graduates in local and foreign aviation. To transfer skills and competence in aircraft maintenance, avionics, tourism, airline management, pilot training and other related endeavors. To provide on-the-job training to its graduating students on the latest aviation technology, equipment usage, and airline operation and management procedures in the civil and military aviation.

OUR VISSION The AAP shall be the best aeronautical institution by providing quality aviation education for the Bicol region and the neighboring provinces in southern Luzon. Likewise, offering assistance to its graduates to embark successfully in its field of specialization (aircraft maintenance, avionics, tourism, ad pilot training) in the aviation industry through its linkages in the civil and military aviation, travel agencies and air transportation office.
