Skills learned: create industry standard construction drawings including assembly details for residential wood frame construction, examine and apply code compliance under the scope of Part 9 of the Alberta Building Code, form industry standard specification lists, produce digital presentation, expressing a design concept, to industry standards and apply the design process in arriving at a residential design solution.

Architectural rendering is the process of creating two-dimensional and three-dimensional images of a proposed architectural design, with the goal to illustrate lifelike experiences of how a space or building will look like before it is built. Using the powerful 3D rendering software Lumion I can create sophisticated and eye-popping designs that represent design intent accurately.

Skills Learned: quickly turn construction documents into 3d visualizations, breathe life into models by adding environment, materials, lighting, objects, foliage and captivating effects creating multiple versions of the designs to refine the design.

Demonstrating standard construction documentation techniques through the preparation of site plans, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, exterior elevations, and building sections for a cast-in-place concrete framed building, HVAC systems, electrical lighting, and structural requirements.
