REPORT TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE 47th NATIONAL CONVENTION FROM NATIONAL PUBLISHING DIRECTOR ELIZA CHAN 1 FOREWORD It is my greatest honour to serve as the National Publishing Director in 2012 and to work with an excellent team of National Board of Directors, especially the Corporate Communications Team consisting of Advisor 2010 National President Senator Gene Tang, National Executive Vice President Licca Chan, National Vice President Jennifer Lam, National Corporate Communications Director Kathy To and National Corporate Communications Commission Acting Chairman Crystal Wu. I am pleased to present the following report to the General Assembly. 2

ASSIGNMENT AND AREA REPORT a) Harbour Lights • Printed Version • Four issues are targeted this year. Each issue will present the interview(s) from inspiring and prominent leader(s) demonstrating the theme “WE DECIDE OUR FUTURE”, highlights of activities and projects of JCIHK, local chapters and Senior Member Club. In this historical year, the Harbour Lights features the updated news of 2012 JCI ASPAC Hong Kong and the 40th Ten Outstanding Young Persons Selection. • I am glad that three issues have been produced in a timely manner: • Issue 1 – January 2012 • An introductory issue showing the new faces of JCI, JCIHK and their plans of actions in 2012 • Issue 2 – April 2012 • Theme: ASPAC 22 • Interviews: i.
