The story of LUG Light Factory began in 1989 in Poland. This was a time of great changes, which brought about a desire for freedom and created space for action. Historia LUG Light Factory rozpoczęła się w 1989 roku w Polsce. Był to czas wielkich przemian, które uwolniły pragnienie wolności i wykreowały przestrzeń do działania. Zbudowaliśmy markę oświetleniową inspirowaną pasją, ambicją i duchem przedsiębiorczości. LIGHT EMITTING DIODE PL

A light in LED is a consequence of electroluminescenct effect in semiconductor material.The LEDs consists of junction composed of two different layers of semiconducting p (dominance of holes) and n-type (dominance of electrones) material.

The electrons will flow to the p region due to the voltage applied to the p-n junction in conduction direction.

In junction region the excited electrons are able to recombine with holes and release the surplus of energy in form of fotons. Nowadays the LEDs are manufactured with strictly defined and controllable proportion of each elementary body, which enables LED manufacturing with different spectral distribution.

Światło w diodach świecących powstaje dzięki zjawisku elektroluminescencji w półprzewodnikach. Diody LED posiadają złącze składające się z dwóch warstw materiałów półprzewodnikowych typu ‚p’ (nadmiar dziur) i typu ‚n’ (nadmiar elektronów).

Licht in der LED ist eine Folge von Elektrolumineszenz-Effekt in Halbleitermaterial. Die LED besteht aus Kreuzung von zwei unterschiedlichen Schichten aus halbleitenden p- (Dominanz der Löcher) und n-Typ- (Dominanz der Elektronen) Material.

Po przyłożeniu do złącza p – n napięcia w kierunku przewodzenia (czyli zasilenia diody) pod wpływem pola elektrycznego elektrony będą wstrzykiwane do obszaru „p”.

Heutzutage werden die LEDs mit fest definiertem und kontrollierbarem Anteil von jedem Grundstoff produziert, was die LED-Fertigung mit verschiedenen Spektralverteilungen ermöglicht.

Ein Teil der in der Lichtabgaberichtung der LED-Diode freigesetzten Photonen wird von der Oberfläche des Kristalls reflektiert und kehrt wieder zurück.

The photons that have crossed the optical barrier, have to also pass through the luminophore layer. The purpose of the luminophore is to transform the monochrome blue light with a wavelength of about 450 nm into a light with a radiation spectrum which begins at the abovementioned wavelength of 450 nm and reaches up to 650 nm.

Die Photonen, welche die optische Barriere durchdringen, müssen auch die Luminophor-Schicht bewältigen. time LxBy, e.g., 50 000 h (L80B10) This format describes durability in terms of the expiration of LED luminaires through normal use. This does not apply to damaged products. The individual elements of the durability description have the following meaning: Time [hrs.] - the time after which the parameters indicated by Lx and By are achieved. Lx - lumen maintenance factor, specifying the limit value „x” (in %) of the decrease in luminous flux of a LED luminaire at the end of the declared time.

By - the population factor, determining the expected value „y” (in %) of the population, e.g., LED luminaires that fail to meet the luminous flux criterion of Lx in the declared time.

By - współczynnik populacji określający przewidywaną procentową wartość y populacji np. użytych opraw LED, których poziom emitowanego strumienia świetlnego nie spełnia kryterium Lx w deklarowanym czasie.

For example: 50000 h (L80B10) is understood as the time during which the light beam emitted by 10% of LED luminaires falls below the declared threshold of 80% of its initial value.

Przykładowy zapis 50.000 h (L80B10) rozumiemy jako czas, podczas którego strumień świetlny emitowany przez 10% populacji opraw LED spadnie poniżej deklarowanego 80% progu jego początkowej wartości.

The most common is the median useful life that indicates time and lumen maintenance factor (Lx) for the B50 population factor of B50. When luminaires have many LED modules, the term 50000 h (L70B50) indicates that during the declared time, the claimed light output of the LED luminaire shall not be less than 70% of the initial value.

Najczęściej spotyka się tzw. średni użyteczny czas życia, deklarujący czas i współczynnik utrzymania strumienia świetlnego (Lx) dla wskaźnika populacji B50. W przypadku, gdy oprawy oświetleniowe wykorzystują wiele modułów LED zapis 50.000 h (L70B50) oznacza, że w deklarowanym czasie strumień świetlny oprawy LED nie powinien być niższy niż 70% wartości początkowej.

Zeit [Stunden] - Zeit, nach der die durch die Faktoren Lx und By beschriebenen Parameter voraussichtlich erreicht werden. Lx - Faktor für Aufrechterhaltung des Lichtstroms, der den prozentualen Grenzwert x des Lichtstromrückgangs einer LED-Leuchte am Ende der angegebenen Zeit bestimmt. By - Bestandsfaktor, der den geschätzten Prozentwert y des Bestands bestimmt, z. B. der eingesetzten LED-Leuchten, deren Niveau des emittierten Lichtstroms das Lx-Kriterium in der angegebenen Zeit nicht erfüllt.

Unter dem Beispielwert von 50.000 h (L80B10) versteht man den Zeitraum, in dem der Lichtstrom, der von 10% des LEDLeuchtenbestandes emittiert wird, die angegebene 80%-Schwelle des Ausgangswertes unterschreitet. Meistens wird der sogenannte Lebensdauermittelwert ermittelt, der das Zeitund Lichtstromerhaltungsverhältnis (Lx) für den Bestandsfaktor B50 bestimmt. TECHNICAL INFORMATION INFORMACJE TECHNICZNE TECHNISCHE INFORMATIONEN Beam angle The angle of the given photometric body, measured at the half of the maximum light intensity emitted in the main direction of the light beam. The angle determines the width of the light cone.

Kąt świecenia Kąt bryły fotometrycznej mierzony w połowie maksymalnej wartości intensywności światła w głównym kierunku dystrybucji. Kąt określa wielkość plamy światła.

Abstrahlwinkel Der Winkel des gegebenen photometrischen Körpers, in dem die Hälfte der maximalen Lichtstärke in der Hauptrichtung des Lichtstrahls abgegeben wird. Der Winkel bestimmt die Breite der Lichtkeule.

Colour rendering index The colour fidelity of light, where the reference value is daylight (Ra = 100).

Wskaźnik oddawania barw jest miarą wierności oddawania koloru, gdzie punktem odniesienia jest światło słoneczne (Ra = 100).

Farbwiedergabeindex Bezeichnung der Farbwiedergabentreue, wo Referenzpunkt Tageslicht ist (Ra = 100).

Colour temperature is determinated by comparing the colour of light emitted by a source with corresponding colour of light emitted by „black body” heated to a certain temperature measured in Kelvins (K).

Belastete Seitenfläche Flächeninhalt der Seitenfläche der Leuchte (Seitenfläche der Leuchte), der der Windbelastung ausgesetzt ist.

Glare An undesirable and unpleasant visual sensation, caused by overly bright objects (reflecting or producing light) appearing in the field of vision. The glare intensity is subjective, however it can be rated using the UGR value, expressed in numbers, where UGR 10 is a barely perceptible glare and UGR 28 can be described as disability glare, making it impossible to carry out normal work activities.

Olśnienie Parametr służący do określenia niepożądanego stanu widzenia, doznanie wzrokowe wywołane jaskrawymi powierzchniami (świecącymi lub odbijającymi światło) występującymi w polu widzenia. Poziom olśnienia określany jest subiektywnie, natomiast ma odzwierciedlenie we wskaźniku UGR, który wyrażony jest liczbą, gdzie UGR 10 to ledwie zauważalne olśnienie, a UGR 28 to olśnienie, które można określić jako uniemożliwiające normalną pracę.

Blendung Bezeichnung einer unerwünschten optischen Störung, ausgelöst durch überhohe Helligkeiten von Flächen (die Licht abgeben oder abstrahlen), die im Sehfeld erscheinen. Die Blendungsstärke wird subjektiv bewertet, spiegelt sich jedoch in dem UGR-Wert wider. Dieser wird in Zahlen angegeben, wo UGR 10 eine kaum wahrnehmbare Blendung bedeutet und UGR 28 eine so starke Blendung, dass normale Arbeit gestört bzw. verhindert wird.

Light efficiency of a luminaire A value given in lm/W, describing the ratio of the luminous flux emitted by a luminaire and the energy consumed by it.

Light intensity The amount of light falling on a given point.
