WOODPRO offers log cabins, garages and gazebos at affordable quality.

Our production facility covers an area of more than 70,000 m2 and we produce many thousands of log cabins every year. We control the entire production process ourselves, which enables us to offer the best quality and service.

We only use high-quality spruce wood, which is extracted from the coldest areas. As a result, trees grow slowly and the annual rings are closer together. This makes the wood more stable and durable.

All of our timber is also kiln dried in order to minimise the risk of shrinkage. Windows, Doors and posts are laminated to prevent warping. All our windows and doors are double glazed as standard.

Our advantages

Double glazing

All windows and doors come with double glazing as standard. In addition all the metalworks are included. Look on pages 28 and 29 to see all the advantages and quality of our windows and doors.

Stacked wood construction system

In all our log cabins, the wall sections are stacked on top of each other and no nails or screws are needed. Our traditional log cabins are manufactured with a cross connection, giving them high wind and watertight corner connection. Our modern range has a 12x12 cm post connection.

Dried and laminated

All the wood is kiln dried to reduce the risk of shrinkage. In addition, the windows, doors and posts are laminated to prevent warping as much as possible.

Posts & Feet

All posts are laminated (prevents warping) and are 9 x 9 cm thick for our traditional log cabins and 12x12 cm thick for our modern range. Posts are delivered with pressure impregnated wooden feet or with a PVC foot for our modern range. An optional metal adjustable foot can be ordered for the posts in the traditional Woodpro range.

First class wood

Woodpro uses first-class spruce, which comes from northern countries where the climate is cold and trees grow slowly. As a result, the annual rings are closer together, which makes the wood more stable and stronger.

Sustainability

All suppliers of our wood are PEFC certified. It is also our mission to deliver our products fully recycable. We keep waste wood and sawdust to an absolute minimum. This waste wood and sawdust is also reused for other purposes.

Also available (extra cost)

Complete roof package: EPDM

Complete EPDM package: rubber roofing, roof outlet and sealant. The wide aluminum roof trimmings for finishing the roof edges are already standard included for the flat roofs, you do not have to order these extra. The roof edges of our flat roofs are finished with aluminium roof trimming and are included as standard.

Choice of five shingle colours

You can choose from five colour options for your gable roof: black, blue, brown, green or red.

Wooden interior floor

The wooden interior floor comes with pressure impregnated beams, 19 mm floorboarding and is finished with beautiful decorative skirting boards. Attention: foundation beams for your log cabin are required when you have selected an internal floor.

*The configurator will automatically add foundation beams when you have selected an internal floor.

Foundation beams

Optionally we offer the foundation beams. These make sure that the wallbeams do not come into direct contact with the ground. The foundation beams have been pressure treated by us. Due to this they are suitable to get into direct contact with the hard ground and are a barrier for water ingress. Foundation beams are absolutely vital to protect your log cabin.

Fixing materials

You can easily order a complete fixing material package with your log cabin.

Floor insulation

• Consists of 40 mm thick thermal sheets (60x120 cm)

• The plates are placed between the pressure impregnated floor beams

• The thermal plates fit perfectly between the floor beams

• The floorboards are laid on top of these floor beams

Roof insulation

• Roof insulation can be ordered with all roofs.

• The roof insulation consists of 40 mm thick plates (60 x 120 cm).

• Thermal conductivity (Lambda value of 0.027 W/m).

• Easy to install and consisting of environmentally friendly CE-certified material with FM approval.

• The boards are made of fiber-free PIR rigid foam and have mineral glass fleece on both sides.

• Water-resistant.

• Special long asphalt nails are provided.

Spray impregnation (pre-treatment)

With spray impregnation, all interior and exterior surfaces are pre-treated with an impregnating agent (primer).

You can choose from four different transparent colours or colourless.

Benefits

• The inside of your log cabin and the parts that are no longer accessible after assembly are protected and you do not need to stain them in the future.

• With this treatment, your cabin is already provided with a primer.

• Your log cabin is immediately protected against mould and decay processes after assembly.

Choose from five colours, and you can choose multiple colours:

Windows/doors: 1 colour

Walls/roof: 1 colour

Floor: 1 colour

So in total, you can choose a maximum of three colours per cabin.

Advice! Your cabin will need to be stained on the outside within 12 months. Within 6 months if white, and as soon as possible if colourless.

Pressure impregnation (low maintenance)

The wood is placed in a large boiler, filled with impregnating agent, and is vacuum drawn. This causes the impregnating agent to be pressed into the wood.If your log cabin is not easily accessible on one or more sides, we recommend having your log cabin pressure impregnated.

Staining - Extra protection

Good to know:

This treatment method has a longer delivery time (+ 1 week) due to the drying process. During assembly, it may be more difficult for the parts to slide into each other because the wood is still somewhat swollen

It takes about six weeks after assembly before (most off) the moisture is extracted from the wood. Also, dryness and/or shrinkage cracks may occur in the wood

• Windows and doors are not pressure impregnated, but you can order them sprayed or stained. The roof boarding is also impregnated

With our staining treatment your log cabin is protected for approximately 2-4 years (Depending on exposure to weathering). The staining treatment for windows/doors is available for both ranges. Staining the walls is only available for our Woodpro Modern range.

Windows and doors

• The windows and doors are treated on all sides in three layers (primer, intermediate treatment and stain).

Only possible in our modern line:

• Your log cabin will be treated by us with our quality products from Italy.

• Posts are always pre-treated colourless on all sides and stained in colour. The walls and fasica boards are pre-treated colourless on both sides and stained in colour on the outside.

impregnated wood is low maintenance and will keep for at least 10 years in all weather conditions. The wood will eventually start turning grey. However you can counteract the greying as well as the ageing and weathering process with, for example, a wood oil. This will stop the weathering process so that it can last up to 30 years.

Casement windows

Windows can be opened by means of a button. The expanders of the casement windows are adjustable, so that you can open the window ajar or completely. Because of the pin and hole connection, the window does not break when there is wind. The espagnolette in the frame ensures that your window is titghtly closed along its entire length.

Top-hung windows

The window expander is included with the windows. The expander allows you to open the window in the desired position.

Tilt and turn mechanism

Tilt and turn windows are very solid and have a high-quality mechanism.

Door handles

Door handles are finished in chrome and spring-loaded.

Cylinder locks

All doors are equipped with a high-quality cylinder lock, including a set of keys.

Draught strips

All doors and windows are fitted with draught strips. These come with plastic foil that you can remove after painting.

Windows sealed

All windows are fully sealed.

Clickable cross bars

The rods have a clicking system. This is very useful when painting and cleaning the windows.

Wear strip

All doors are equipped with an aluminium wear strip with pre-drilled screw holes. This wear strip protects your sill.

Adjustable split hinges

The hinges are adjustable in all directions.

Covers for a beautiful finish

We supply covers for each hinge to give them a nice finish.

Our new range is a feast for the eyes. The 12 x 12cm thick posts create a modern and very robust look. Assembly is simple and easy, there’s no need for screws and nails, and the wall sections can be simply slid into the posts.
