Whilst we were able to retain the core of the squad from last year, the U11s started this season with a large number of players who had very little experience or were completely new to the game. This was reflected in some of the early league results and our slow start to the season. However, the players have been extremely committed in training and continue to show a willingness to learn.

collision area Tana Erasmus: Consistently strong at the breakdowns and a good link between the forwards and backs Jac Mathews: An elusive runner with excellent ball skills and a good ability to read the game Baptiste Requillart: Difficult to stop with ball in-hand and extremely committed in defense  Scott Donald: Tackles, snipes, harasses opposition and provides great distribution Tom Norman: Good skill set and continues to improve all aspects of his game, particularly in defense Alistair Hess: Very strong in all facets of play, exceptional handling ability and a constant threat to opposition Jake Wade: A good understanding of the game, reinforced with consistently strong tackling and decisive running Fletcher Brady: Superb finisher who thrives with ball in space Mathis Huguet: Always looking to get his hands on the ball and one of the U11’s most elusive runners Suhail Al Araimi: Confrontational in both attack and defense, extremely committed and always leads from the front Ben Skelton: Excellent at the ruck and maul and committed in defense Miguel de Geus: Great improvement in distribution from scrum half and beginning to develop a very good running game Charlie George: Continues to make huge improvements in handling ability and add to his already good running game Thomas Ortola: Solid on the ball going forward and continues to improve as the season progresses Alex Robertson: Strong and direct with ball in-hand, competitive in the tackle and developing a good understanding of the game Oscar Tundo: Plays and trains at a consistently high level and is always a threat on attack William Currie: Scrums well with good technique at ruck time and growing in confidence with ball in hand Sam Coughlan: Good on attack and committed in defense, he has taken huge strides since the start of the season and continues to improve in all areas of the game Tyler Raath: Strong at scrum time, powerful with ball in-hand and consistently maintains a good work rate Ben Hetherington: Extremely good work rate, consistently the first to every ruck and maul and elusive in attack Sam Muller: Exceptional on attack and a constant danger to opposition defense Killian Morrell: Has added a much improved defensive game to his outstanding finishing ability Ben Sherry: Growing in confidence, very committed in defense and developing a good running game Tim Wilmot: Powerful runner who is starting to develop his skills and reading of the game Lorenzo Terrone: Very committed in all facets of play and always looking to get involved on attack and in defense Xavier St Jacques: Scrums well and is at his best in the tight exchanges [6]
