Sometimes the admissions process can seem a little daunting, especially for students applying from overseas, but through our international student webinars and the detailed guidance we send at every step of the process we make it as straightforward as possible for you. 1. What qualifications does the

University of Cambridge accept?

2. Do I need an English language

qualification? You may be asked to

achieve a specific English language qualification as part of your offer condition.

3. Can you apply to both the

University of Cambridge and University of Oxford? No, it’s

not possible to apply to both

Cambridge and Oxford in the same year for undergraduate study.

4. Is the application process different for international students? No,

it’s the same. All applicants to the University of Cambridge must complete and submit a UCAS

application by the 15 October.

Earlier deadlines may apply for

those wishing to be interviewed overseas.

Student Lifestyle The College is very close to the centre of Cambridge, and within easy reach of all University departments, the University Library, the University Sports Centre, student performance venues and the riverside. The College has a great social atmosphere and many different sports on offer. The Students’ Union (SU) is an essential part of College life and arranges a host of social events throughout the year from film and pizza evenings, club nights and historic walks. It also runs the College Bar and supports the College’s different clubs and societies. The SU ensures undergraduate interests are represented and offers a vital support network for current students.

Academic, Pastoral and Careers Support Lucy Cavendish supports students to achieve their full potential at Cambridge and to progress to their chosen career or profession. All our new students attend our complimentary ‘Bridging Week’, just before the start of term, which helps you to get to grips with life and study at Cambridge. Once here, our experienced Directors of Studies and Tutors support you academically and pastorally during your studies, meeting you regularly to review your progress and to discuss any necessary support. We also understand that it is not only getting a great degree that is important, but what life holds after University too. Our bespoke careers programme is run in close collaboration with the excellent University Careers Service and includes meetings with a Careers Adviser in College, opportunities to network with alumni and frequent careers and enterprise events.
