Kulturkontakt Nord -Nordic Culture Point
Nordic Culture Point is an active cultural organisation that works with the whole of the Nordic Region as its platform. The organisation has three main areas of activity. • • •
We run a cultural centre and library in Kaisaniemi, Helsinki, which spreads knowledge of and stimulates interest in the Nordic Region and Nordic culture. We provide the secretariat function for three Nordic funding programmes: the Culture and Arts Programme, the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture and Nordbuk. We are responsible for the profile of Nordic cultural co-operation in the Region and beyond. These activities create physical, economical and digital spaces for cultural encounters in the Nordic Region.

Nordic library "Welcome to our Nordic library in the very heart of Helsinki, in Kaisaniemenkatu 9. Library We offer a wide range of books, both fiction and non-fiction, in all of the Nordic languages, including Swedish. We have a selection of film and music and a new space entirely for children. You can also read newspapers and magazines from the Nordic countries. You can register for a library card free of charge by showing your ID-card!
