The Flag of Peru
San Martin landed in the Bay of Paracas. He was very tired so he rested under the palm tree.
He fell asleep and dreamed about a great country, orderly, free and patriotic.
He also dreamed that the people in that country was free and they were wawing a flag with pride.
He woke up and opened his eyes. Like a vision, he saw in the sky many birds flying. These birds were the parihuanas, which have red wings and white chest.
He remembered his dream and after this San Martin ordered the creation of the first flag of Peru.
