Volume I Issue 11

Greetings Sorors,

to what is evil or harsh and when I bring anger into a situation, soften my heart and help me use my words to My sincere thanks to each of you for all of your hard encourage others. Please reflect on these words as we work and the sacrifice of your time and talent to provide interact with family, sorors and friends, not just during service to the community. I understand that it is not althe holiday season, but daily. ways easy but it is amazing how productive we are when we are working as a team. Again, you are some “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a battle of the hardest working volunteers I know. you know nothing about” For those who have end of the year reports to complete, please review the 2015 Report Forms on the Corporate Website (aka1908) to get an idea of the type of information you will be expected to provide in your report. I will email a copy of the Power Point Presentation - “End of the Year Reporting” which Madame Regional Director reviewed during a Webinar with Basilei, AntiBasilei, etc.

As Basileus of LTO, my life has been enriched by the intersection of my life journey with each of yours. I thank you for the lessons learned which have expanded me. Some of the intersections with my LTO Sorors are depicted below.

Sisterly,

Please pay careful attention to the listing of upcom- Madame Basileus ing events on page 16. president@ltoaka.org *As you prepare to eat a delicious Thanksgiving feast, take the time to think about three things that you are thankful for. While there will always be things to complain about, if we look carefully there are always blessings to be thankful for. Whatever you do, be sure to give thanks to God the Father. Make the choice to have an attitude of thankfulness. Find the blessings that are locked up in the things we complain about and let us regularly express our gratitude to God and others. (*Paraphrased from Game of Thanks, “Our Daily Bread,” December 6). Sorors, when we wound the heart of someone dear to us by a harsh word, we can undo much of the good we have done toward those we love and care about. Here’s the good news: we can all be kind. How? By asking God to “set a guard over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips, do not let my heart be drawn
