Programme overview The Global Master’s in Management is a unique two-year programme for students who wish to develop a deeper understanding of how to manage people, organisations and markets, and the international socio-economic environment in which businesses operate. With this programme you will gain an exceptional combination of intellectual and practical skills, and understand the real-world challenges that face managers and companies today. You will graduate fully prepared to launch your career as a manager in consulting, finance or a range of other sectors.

This two year programme gives students the time to immerse themselves fully in the study of management.

CEMS Master’s in International Management The LSE GMiM is the only UK programme offering the CEMS Master’s in International Management as an optional double degree. The prestigious CEMS MIM offers you access to a global network of 30 leading partner business schools, and over 70 corporate and social partners. You can apply to join the CEMS programme in your second year at LSE. This will give you a platform to launch your international career, become part of a unique international community, and gain a deep understanding of business opportunities and challenges across the globe.

MiM exchange term The MiM exchange term offers a taste of the MBA experience, with the chance to study in the US or Europe in a leading MBA classroom. You will gain more practicebased skills, complementing LSE’s rigorous academic approach. Curriculum First year: core foundations The first year of the Global Master’s in Management programme will give you in-depth training in the core principles of general management, covering Foundations of Management, Marketing Management, Managerial Economics, Organisational Behaviour and Quantitative Analysis. Second year: advanced specialism The second year of the programme incorporates a practical Business Project with a real external client, and a final Dissertation project to bring together your learning from across the programme in your own area of interest. Alongside these core courses, we offer three unique options to tailor your second year to your individual interests and career goals: • We offer two prestigious international options: the MiM Exchange and the CEMS Master’s in International Management.
