of Word and Sacrament at First Presbyterian Church in Owensboro, Kentucky. David is a chaplain at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Laura McDonald (MDiv ’17) was ordained as an Elder in the United Methodist Church. Stephanie (Finamore) Rolfe (MDiv ’17) is a chaplain for Hosparus of Southern Indiana. Courtney Bowen (MDiv ’18) was ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament on September 29, 2018. She is the pastor of Church of the Covenant in Elizabeth, Indiana. Courtney and her husband, Lane, also celebrated the birth of their child, Carter Lane Bowen, in mid-October. Megan McCarty (MDiv/ MAMFT ’18) and her husband, Shannon Bostrom, celebrated the birth of their daughter in May 2018. John Kupar (MDiv ’18) was ordained Minister of
Word and Sacrament and installed as associate pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Pensacola, Florida, on September 9, 2018. He and Katherine Norwood Kupar (MDiv ’18) were married on May 19, 2018. Brandon Oullette (MDiv ’18) was ordained as Minister of Word and Sacrament and installed as pastor of Faith United Presbyterian Church in Monmouth, Illinois, on August 12, 2018. Phillip Thompson (MAMFT ’18) is in the Couple and Family Sciences Ph.D. program at the University of Kentucky. He also started a nonprofit organization called Fresh Routes Inc., which offers counseling and other services that promote mental and physical health in underserved populations.
