Thank You, God
Choose an approach for prayer.
You created me. Thank you, God. You created my family and friends. Thank you, God. You created a beautiful world. Thank you, God. You made everything good. Thank you, God. Amen.
Recorded Guided Reflection Prepare During this session, play the guided reflection “Thanking God for Creation” [CD 3, Track 1]. The script is found on page T-252 of the Catechist Guide. Pray If you use the script, play reflective music softly in the background [CD 2, Track 15 or 16]. Approach 2
Children’s Page Prepare Invite children to gather in the prayer center with their books. Ask: What do we do to get ready to pray? Elicit that we get quiet, fold our hands, close our eyes, bow our heads. Say: These things help us listen for what God wants to tell us. UNIT 1 • Session 2
IF TIME ALLOWS
