Constantly worrying about what might happen in the future. It’s normal to feel a little anxious about the future and what may or may not happen. Sometimes, it’s impossible to avoid. But, worrying too much can cause you unneeded stress and that can get in the way of your happiness. Worrying about something doesn’t stop it from happening. Anxiety can’t change the outcome. Deal with things as they happen rather than spending time replaying possible scenarios in your head.

Putting off everything on your todo list until the last minute. Are you a chronic procrastinator? I have always been one too. Occasionally, getting down to the wire gives me the pressure I need to get things done. But it also leaves me stressed and fitting too many things into a short amount of time. Life

will become much smoother if you stop procrastinating and start working before your deadlines.

Handling disappointment with self-destruction. Life will sometimes disappoint you in different ways, whether it’s other people letting you down, letting yourself down, or things not going the way you’d hoped. The sooner you accept that it’s normal to feel disappointed from time to time, the easier it will be to handle it in a healthy way. When someone feels disappointed, they turn to self-destructive habits as an escape. Although those habits may feel good momentarily, the aftermath leaves you feeling a lot worse. These destructive habits may even add to the disappointment you already feel.
