Let’s unite for Dementia Action Week Monday 21st - Sunday 27th May 2018

There are a mixture of factors that increase a person’s risk of developing dementia - some that can be avoided and others that are impossible to control. Many people are facing it alone, but we can urgently find a care, improve care, and offer help and understanding if we unite against dementia. If you’re worried about dementia, talk to your GP today or visit alzheimers.org.uk Dementia Friends Information Sessions are run by volunteer Dementia Friends Champions, who are trained and supported by Alzheimer’s Society. Each Information Session lasts around one hour. You will learn more about dementia and how you can help to create dementia friendly communities. To find out how you can become a Dementia Friend visit www.dementiafriends.org.uk If your business would like to support Middlesbrough being a Dementia Friendly Town visit www.dementiafriendlymiddlesbrough.org.uk ABM Love Mbro Advert.qxp_Layout 1 11/01/2016 10:50 Page 1
