Welcome With our amazing facility, this is a great time to be a Member at Lost City Golf Club, and the upcoming season is jam packed with events for everyone.

As such, we’re excited to introduce our new season calendar! This comprehensive booklet outlines all of our major social and golfing events for the upcoming season. You will find a section dedicated to every aspect of Club life and we’re confident there is something for everyone in the months ahead.

This is definitely a must-have for every Member, and we hope that you enjoy using all of this great information as much as the team enjoyed working to put it together.

Golf The 2019-2020 golf season is upon us and the Golf Committee, Jason Brown and his staff have been working hard to prepare an amazing season of golf for our members and their guest.

Golf Shop Hours: 7:30 a.m.—5:00 p.m. every day Practice Facility Hours: 7:30 a.m. to sunset every day, except Wednesday & Sundays when it will close at 3:00 p.m. for maintenance.

Golf Course Hours: 8:00 a.m. to sunset every day PLEASE NOTE: Tuesday morning is Ladies’ Day— men may play after 11:00 a.m.

All players must check in with the starter prior to play Guests must be registered in the golf shop prior to play

Please be familiar with the Club’s dress code and make guest aware of proper dress prior to arriving at the club We use the GHIN handicapping system.

All players in club run events must have a current USGA approved handicap.

Tournaments & Events WOMEN’S GOLF ASSOCIATION TUESDAYS, NOVEMBER - APRIL FORMATS VARY- 18 HOLES Every Tuesday morning women come together to meet new members and play with friends. 9:00 a.m. Shotgun is the typical starting time. Sign up individually for whichever events you would like to play in and the golf staff will take care of the pairings for you.

Online entry via USGA Tournament Management is available. It includes weekly, live scoring, and instant results emailed to all members at the completion of the event.

WOMEN’S 9 HOLE LEAGUE TUESDAYS, NOVEMBER - APRIL FORMATS VARY- 9 HOLES Every Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. With once per month parties and a fun, inviting, atmosphere, this group of ladies sets the standard for enjoyment of our Club and friendship.

If you are just beginning to play the game or appreciate the shorter round of golf, this is the perfect group for you.

WOMEN’S MAJORS The women have three major tournaments in which to compete. The participants in these events epitomize what golf is all about, competitive and kind sportsmanship! These events are a great way to test your mental preparedness for the game of golf.

Featuring an 18 hole format, with a special theme for the day. Take this opportunity to show your friends what being a member at Lost City Golf Club is all about. From great course conditions, to camaraderie that can only be found here.

Exquisite food and service will be on full display for you and your guest. A 12:30 p.m. shotgun start with lunch prior to play and dinner and awards to follow.

Tournaments & Events TGIF FRIDAYS, NOVEMBER - APRIL 4 PERSON SCRAMBLE - 9 HOLES With a few exceptions, TGIF is held every Friday, November thru April.

3:30 p.m. Shotgun in Daylight Savings Time, 3:00 p.m. Shotgun during Standard Time Teams usually consist of two men and two women (max two men per team).

You can either make your own group or ask the golf shop to find you partners.

TGIF is the highest attended weekly

event at the Club. With it’s 9 hole scramble format, it is a great opportunity for players of all skill levels to mix up their partners and have a great afternoon. Dinner is available after golf.

SUNDAY GOLF EVENTS Nov. 17, Dec. 15, Jan. 19, Feb.9, April 19 Sunday, Funday! You can play in these five events with whomever you choose.

Each will have an event with a unique format for your foursome. The January 18 event is a special event in which each group will have a PGA Ambassador playing with their group. All events will start with a 1:00 p.m.

MIXED CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP MARCH 7 & 8, 2020 36 Hole Stroke Play - 2 different 18 hole formats will be used for this event.

1:00 p.m. Shotgun Start each day Partner up with your spouse or favorite golf partner. Each team consists of one man and one woman for this Championship Event. The first 18 hole round will be Better Ball of Partners and the second 18 hole round will be a Pinehurst (Hit, Switch, Alternate) format. This event crowns both net and gross champions.

CAN-AM: 21st ANNIVERSARY JANUARY 29 thru 31, 2020 The marquee event of the year brings the entire Club together for three days of patriotic cheer. Offering three divisions; men’s, women’s and mixed teams, and with multiple 9 hole formats, you can participate as much as you wish to support your team.

After the first day of play the men have a cocktail party, on day two, the ladies have a cocktail party, and the dinner at the end of the event is one of the biggest nights at the Club.

Tournaments & Events MEN’S THREE DAY MEMBER-GUEST FEBRUARY 20, 21 & 22, 2020

Two-man teams compete in five (5) nine hole matches in Flights with an optional skins pool. Following the 5th match, each flight winner will proceed to a four hole shootout to crown an overall Champion! Food and beverage provided daily .

MEN’S 9 HOLE LEAGUE

WEDNEDAYS, NOVEMBER - APRIL GROSS AND NET SKINS - 9 HOLES Each Wednesday one of our three 9 hole courses will be designated as the Skins Course.

Play any time of day with at least one other player who is also participating in the skins and turn your card in when finished. Members from all groups and tee combinations are welcome to play by simply registering in the Golf Shop prior to teeing off.

WEDNESDAYS, NOVEMBER - APRIL FORMATS VARY Every Wednesday morning.

10:30 a.m. Shotgun is the typical starting time.

Experienced and new golfers alike are welcome to play. In addition to playing in this weekly event, participants may join the Skins Game as well. If you like fun and golf, this is the group for you.

Tournaments & Events MEN’S MAJORS The men have four major events each season offering the best of competition to our members. Show off your skills and get your name forever emblazoned on one of the plaques displayed in the clubhouse. Each of these events will be flighted to provide the highest degree of competition for all levels of play.

Golf Instruction Lost City Golf Club is committed to growing the game of golf here in the City of Atlantis and beyond.

All golf instruction is supervised by:

Jason Brown, PGA Director of Golf TPI Certified for both Adults and Juniors Toby Schmidt, PGA Assistant Professional

Instruction is available for private sessions, groups, juniors, beginners and advanced players.

Our goal is to teach you how to play your game better through swing corrections and course management. We are also experts on the USGA Rules of Golf and can help you better understand how the rules are in place to assist you through your rounds. We look forward to helping you, your family, and your friends make the improvements to your game.

Dining & Social Another beautiful summer has passed us by and we are rolling into the new season with great morale, and a newly improved menu. We have many excellent events lined up for you this upcoming season.

We will be open for lunch 7 days a week, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. ( Saturday till 3:00 p.m.) with an improved a la carte menu and daily specials.

Our ever-popular Monday Night Mixer will feature our traditional a la carta menu with weekly specials inspired from International Cuisine, so once again our staff will take you on a trip around the world.

Starting with Creole Cuisine in November, December is Italian month, January is Spanish month, February is French month, March is Greek month and April is American Cuisine month.

Tuesday and Thursday between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., we are running a BOGO 50% off for all our wines by the glass.

Wednesday is our Pub Night, so join us and we will help you get over hump day a little easier. Happy Hour starts at 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., where you will receive a $1.00 off all beverages (Dine in only). Come and enjoy delicious wings, burgers sliders and so much more.

We will be mixing Bocce night with Trivia and Outdoor Movie night. Bingo is back again on the second Thursday of the month at 1:00 p.m. in the Ladies Card Room. Lunch and Learn Speaker series will happen on every third Thursday of each month.

Friday Nights enjoy our food stations featuring Themed Nights with chef attended stations and on the last Friday of every month we will have a dinner fest featuring the Cuisine of the Country we will be hosting.

Saturday Morning will start with a bagel bar from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Sundays will features a chef attended omelet station and a la carte lunch menu including brunch specials like Eggs Benedict and a Smoked Salmon Platter, accompanied by Tailored Bloody Mary’s filled with yummy celery sticks and Mimosas.

Other important highlights include Lunch and Learn Speakers series, Outdoor Movie Night, Wine Dinners, Holiday Member Appreciation Reception, The Johnny Rogers Show, The Legends of Country Music, also Beatles Tribute by “Let It Be” band, Murder Mystery Dinner, Seafood Night, Spring Training Trip to see the Yankees game and more.

Lost City Golf Club will be happy to host your Corporate, Anniversary, Birthday event and even cater to your home!

Reservations RESERVATION PROTOCOL Special club events and holiday dinners are popular events that sell out and require the purchase of special food and beverage products, equipment, entertainment, etc.

Last minute cancellations (including changes to the party number) cause the Club to incur unnecessary expenses if the reservation is not replaced. As a result, the Club must exercise a firm enforcement of the special event and holiday policy:





 



At the time of making your reservation for the special events, we will charge your account 100% of the event price.

Please let us know if you have other Members dining with you, so we may contact them.

You may cancel 24 hours prior to event, without being charged.

If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to the event, you will have to pay 100% of the event price.

If you are signed up for a golf event, you are automatically signed up for the dinner event that follows unless you notify us otherwise.
