The project task was to design a new residential building in c.so Francia. The project choice was to create a building of 4 floors, maximum. The study tried to respond to a need for natural ventilation, and to guarantee a good exposure to sun. The optimization of the solar contribution was studied through a conservator system.
The plan was studied through a modular cube unity . The cubes form the teaching class and create internal courts. Nature and greenery introduced into the school make a connection between terrace and recreation area.
The choice of the materials was made after a deep analysis of €CO and benchmark. Natural ventilation was studied considering the origin of the wind. The technology choices made, were to use a shading system and photovoltaic energy integrated into the glass and in the roof.
The project was developed around different buildings that open into courts that provide a public-private space.
The elements of the study were: - green (roof -court) - water saving - the choice of the material. The project integrated an evaluation of the efficiency of the building material. The acoustics and the lighting environment were also studied.
A study of the shadow in the facade necessitated a consideration of the integration of photovoltaic energy into the glass window. The project choice was to create big windows overhangs into which was integrated amorphous silicon.
The project focused on the integration of new technologies as a solution for the facade and the roof of the ENEL building in Catania. The proposal was to integrate in a unique module: - photovoltaic (rotating) brise soleil - phase change material. - fibre optic collector. - solar water collector

The competition asked the project of temporrary residence for Milano Expo 2015. The proposal were modular residence made of pallet.
The choice to use pallet is due to the fact that this material is recycled and at the same time can be modularly assembly. The idea was to generate a prefabricated module that could give lot of advantages from an economical point of view and a practical one. The challenge is to generate a prefabricated element that could overcome the limits coming from the prefabrication.
