How Cloud computing can be time saving and economical? Technology at present and a few of years ago have never been much different; in fact it’s simply their use that has refined over the years. Let’s take an example, just as the automotive industry evolved and the cars that run on petrol today consume just a fraction of what they used to just 30 years ago, technology has allowed us to make some savings too: in our case, it’s time. Here are a few of examples that you simply would run into throughout the course of daily, and have a glance at what proportion time you truly save.
For starters, let’s say you capture a photograph on your phone and wish to view it on your Machine. Think of this scenario in the older days, it would have taken you one or two of minutes to search out phone’s cable and connect it to your Machine and then a couple more minutes to go through the phone’s file system, find the photo and finally copy it to the folder you keep your photos on your Machine. Nowadays technology has advanced so much that you save all of this time by having your photos saved to a cloud storage system, which can be readily accessible on your Machine almost instantaneously. Time saved: let’s say Five minutes. Per usage! One trendier, often used service that moved to the cloud is instant messaging. Just a few of years ago, whenever I desired to chat with one of my friends, I had a couple of different ways of doing so. Unfortunately, almost all conversations were saved locally,
and if I needed to seek out that one bit of information in that one conversation it was, at best, time consuming. Time saved by having information instantly available: at least an hour, on average. Yet another underrated individual use of the cloud is one I often depend upon: song and movies. Remember when we had to carry bags full of movie CDs and DVDs, or we had to fastidiously transfer music files via Bluetooth, one at a time, for hours? That’s all gone in the current era, and it’s all thanks to cloud storage. Instant streaming services like Spotify, Netflix, or Google’s own Play Music All Access are available nowadays. They allow you to have your entire film or music library on any device, as quick as your internet connection can allow you to download them. Time saved – hours. All in all, this theoretical examples precisely points out how time can be saved by having everything uploaded to the cloud. Basically, just for our daily activities we can save a ton of time by having everything instantly available to us. So let’s say thanks to cloud computing!
