Biemme introduces the Garun Biomeccanico pad, the result of co-operation between the company from Vicenza and Dr. Mauro Testa. The pad is a new and innovative product that will change the history of cycling. The Garun Biomaccanico pad has a patent pending and it is produced internally with the newest technologies in pads manufacturing. The features of the successful Garun series: -High breathability and antibacterial: the inner pad shell of the bibshort is made by a bi-elastic, antibacterial and breathable fabric without heat-sealing in order to obtain a skin-like effect when in contact with the body. Furthermore, the various layers that compose it are drilled in an asymmetric way. This allows an increased breathability and it maintains this part of pad dry and cooled. -Anatomical and adaptability: the pad is free to move, so it fits to the athlete’s position on the bike when raising and sitting on the saddle; -Maximum comfort: the padding is applied on the underside of the pad so no seams or creases are in contact with the body. -Anti-slip and resistant: the ceramic lycra is a particular fabric that has an application of a ceramic coating that improves the resistance to friction. It also improves the riding position on the saddle of the cyclist.
GARUN PAD
The new generation of cycling pad, the Garun pad is made of two different parts; a lower part (the pad itself) that is completely anatomic and the upper (the one in contact to the body) which is made with a high density foam and perforated pad to let air flows and dry fast. The upper is also antibacterial and without any seams, which enables a softer contact so that the skin remains soft and without blemish. The two parts are attached on the front by heat welding and on the sides with two elastic bands; this allows the pad to move on itself while seating on the saddle reducing friction, heat and diminishing the risk of skin irritation.
