The Cressbrooke Christmas camp was attended by 22 people. It was a great weekend. Sue thanked Andrew for donating 3 bird breeding boxes for lucky door prizes. Sue thanked everyone who helped over the weekend CPR re-certification course will be held on the 18th December at 6pm, at our meeting hall Karen Roache handed in an updated Sunday Walks list Australia Day Falls on a Tuesday, but for anyone wishing to take a long weekend, Andrew & Sue are going to Sundown National Park. 4WD is required An alternated Australia Day weekend will be Elanda Point, near Pomona. A practice thru walk will be organised for Jenny & Gail, either 17km to Harry’s Hut or a 10km one to the first waterhole Easter will be at Moogerah Dam at the same house as last year March is the trip to the Grampians, with the thru walk Sue & Regina are doing the Sunshine Coast thru walk, beginning at Baroon Pocket Dam, in late December The Green Gully thru walk (65km), at Walcha near Armidale will be scheduled for the 1 st or 2nd weekend in September, 2016. It’s 4 days, 3 nights, staying in stockman’s huts. 6 people per night are allowed in the huts. There is a house to staying the night before. The coast is $90 for 4 nights and $140 for 5 nights The Cape York trip is on. Kit and Mary have to leave Bamaga by the 5 th August to catch the barge back to Cairns. The people on the trip so far are: Kit & Mary, Peter Rice, Sean & Anne, Dave, Ross & Karen, Kathy, Donna & Karen and Bridget The May Day long weekend will be from May and it was agreed that Bunya Mountains was a good venue The Goomeri Pumpkin Festival will be on Sunday 29th May. This was discussed some time ago and some information given by Kit. A weekend away will be scheduled around this event The walk for Saturday 12th is Coomera Circuit/Coomera Falls. Sue is the coordinator The walk for Saturday 19th is Denham Scenic Reserve and then a BBQ at Beechmont. There is enough food left over from the sausage sizzle and Christmas Party. BYO drinks Other camps/walks that were mentioned were Sheep Station Creek, Toonabah State Forest (off the Lions Rd) and Whian Whian Camp & Minion Falls The 2016 Pilgrimage is being hosted by Brisbane Bushwalkers The Nepal trip is on for 2016 Karen bought in an esky that her sister has for sale for $100. If anyone is interested, please call Karen Roache There will not be a Friday night dinner in December Sue wished everyone a very happy Christmas

Alternatively, please phone the walk coordinator between the hours of 6pm to 8pm on the Thursday before the walk

Walk Grading ’s Walkers Guide: Participants are required to read and understand the Grading System for activities as listed. They should ensure that they are able to complete the listed walk. New members will normally start with two shorter and easier walks with the Club, such as easy terrain, easy fitness, and or short to medium length and progress by one grading step per activity.
