#MakingItHappen

WELCOME NOTE Welcome to our Spring 2019 Training Programme. We hope that the range of courses on offer will enable you to further enhance your business and at the same time give you the opportunity to network with other small businesses in County Laois. All courses are delivered by professional trainers to a very high standard and are heavily subsidised by the Local Enterprise Office. • Priority will be given to owners/managers or employees of micro-enterprises in County Laois. • Places are limited so early booking is advisable. • All courses must be booked online at www.localenterprise.ie/laois • Fees are non-refundable except when a course is cancelled by the Local Enterprise Office due to insufficient bookings. Our Spring 2019 Training Programme contains a wide variety of programmes for start up and developing enterprises. During the year we run various other events including seminars, enterprise week, networking events and specialised events for enterprises. We would recommend that you sign up for our email newsletter and follow us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with all of the new events and services we provide for local businesses on an ongoing basis. Evelyn Reddin, Head of Enterprise

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT OUR TRAINING…

I always look to see what courses the LEO have on. I've found them to be very useful, great value and a real asset to our business. There's a huge range of courses available, something to help every business, and I would definitely recommend availing of them. David Walsh-Kemmis, Ballykilcavan Brewery

If you are thinking of starting your own business I would advise the first step is to enrol and signup for the “Start Your Own Business” course in your Local Enterprise Office. It is an excellent course covering all aspects of starting up a new business. It gave me the confidence and knowledge I needed to start my business and it exceeded my expectations with the comprehensive detail covered over a period of a couple of weeks. Loretta McDonald, Central Pre-Cast Concrete

I have undertaken some training courses with the LEO over the past couple of years and I have found their know-how invaluable in assisting me in my work and would really recommend other business people to avail of their services. Mary Keogh, Portarlington Enterprise Centre

I have participated in training with the LEO and found it a great support to me when starting my business and six years later with a successful business I still refer to some of the advice I received at that time. Recent training I did further assisted in reviewing and helping me plan for future developments. Imelda Devitt, Tynan's Restaurant At The Stoneyard
