“When we were children, we were often asked about our aspirations for the future. Our responses ranged from wanting to be astronauts or presidents to, in my case, aspiring to be a princess. As we grew older, around the age of ten, we were once again posed the same question, and our answers began to shift towards more realistic professions such as doctors or lawyers. In my case, I expressed a desire to become an “Architect”

As a ten-year-old, I associated architects with the construction of castles, which were often depicted as the dwellings of princesses. As I matured, my passion for design deepened, and it became a fundamental aspect of my life. I constantly sought ways to enhance my surroundings by infusing them with elegance, simplicity, and beauty.

My deep appreciation for beauty extended to various forms, including photography, literature, imaginative storytelling,music, art, and, of course, fashion.

In its entirety, the field of Architecture appears to encompass a harmonious blend of elements that collectively shape a mode of thinking and a platform for creative expression aligned with my personal disposition.

Through my experiences, I have come to recognize myself as an individual brimming with enthusiasm, dedicating my energy to creative pursuits. My adaptability becomes evident in my ability to engage with diverse tasks and function effectively both within a team dynamic and as an independent contributor.

I identify myself as a conscientious, methodical, and inventive professional, consistently demonstrating a keen eye for detail. My inquisitiveness extends to various cultures and locations worldwide, showcasing an inherent curiosity. This inherent curiosity fosters an open-mindedness that eagerly embraces novel knowledge and diverse experiences.

The meaning of the name lobaba is: the innermost essence.

There are always exceptions, but Parisians generally don’t decorate with bold colors. You’re much more likely to find a room dressed in cream, gold, ivory, and gray.

The choice of interior design colors and furniture for this apartment takes inspiration from the Parisian style.

The bold presence of black kitchen cabinets adds a touch of modern luxury while honoring timeless traditions.

Elegant gold accents punctuate the space, infusing a sense of opulence that transcends eras. Mixing and matching elements, including the chunky furniture trend, create an eclectic and sophisticated atmosphere.

Bathed in natural light, every detail shines, adding depth to the room’s character. Fresh flowers grace the room, embodying the vitality of Parisian life.

The apartment's interior features a palette of white, Grey, and black tones, complemented by soft brown neutrals. Furthermore, it embraces abundant natural light, as industrial decor and spacious windows with black frames.

The exterior of the building has been Designed using white plaster, creating a clean and uniform appearance. The stucco elements, including pilasters, window bands, columns, and the crowning cornice, have all been crafted in a color that complements the overall building design. This attention to detail adds a sense of distinctiveness and exclusivity to the structure.

The windows follow a classic design, contributing to the building's timeless aesthetic. To create an eye-catching contrast with the facade, the window frames have been colored to match the dark roofing. This deliberate choice in color helps to highlight the architectural features and adds depth to the building's exterior.

In this dressing room, purity and freshness take center stage with its light and airy design. The prevailing tones of white, pale gray, and creamy accents establish an enduring elegance. The soothing pale gray walls form a backdrop, while the mirror enhances luminosity and depth.

Huge windows embrace the room, inviting ample natural light that shifts the ambiance throughout the day.

Likewise, the bedroom design creates a retreat where light wood walls emanate natural charm and understated luxury windows infuse the space with natural light, resulting in an airy ambiance that gracefully traverses the wooden surfaces.

I had the privilege of contributing significantly to the entry of Pizza Hut and KFC into the Sudanese market, marking their status as the first international chains to establish a presence there. In 2019, ARAAK successfully undertook the construction and launch of four Pizza Hut establishments and three KFC outlets.

This accomplishment is particularly noteworthy considering that, within the context of these respective companies in Africa, no franchisee had previously achieved the feat of launching more than one store within their inaugural year, let alone accomplishing the opening of seven establishments across two distinct brands.

Subsequently, in 2020, I attained certification as a designer for both Pizza Hut and KFC. The involvement in these projects significantly enhanced my managerial competencies and aptitude for adhering to stringent timelines. My role encompassed a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including the conceptualization and design of all twelve branches, overseeing the procurement of necessary materials, efficient management of the construction process, and the crucial task of site selection entailing aspects of business development.

The experience garnered from these ventures not only bolstered my proficiency in project management but also underscored my proficiency in effectively delivering results within specified deadlines. Furthermore, assuming responsibility for the design and establishment of multiple branches, coupled with material procurement and construction management, exemplifies a balanced combination of strategic acumen and hands-on operational execution. Additionally, the role played in site selection and business development underscores a discerning ability to comprehend market dynamics and make informed decisions that foster the growth and economic viability of the franchises.

Overall, my engagement with the introduction of Pizza Hut and KFC to the Sudanese market serves as a testament to my capabilities in project management, design, and business development. The skills acquired through these experiences are anticipated to continue being instrumental in shaping my professional trajectory.

The Design concept revolves around a traditional and elegant ambiance, accentuated by the prominent use of wood as the central design element. This choice aims to imbue the space with a sense of grandeur and coziness. To enhance the overall appeal and vitality of the environment, a variety of natural plants will be strategically incorporated. This infusion of greenery not only enlivens the space but also adds a gentle touch of colour to the inviting colour palette.

I derived immense satisfaction from the creation of this project, as it provided a platform for designing an environment that truly resonated with my passion. The core objective revolved around establishing a workspace that would serve as a catalyst for motivation and inspiration, fostering a heightened level of effectiveness and innovation.

Spanning an expansive area of 100m², the multifunctional office design embraces a vibrant, contemporary aesthetic. Its purpose is to offer a spectrum of opportunities, ensuring that individuals can relish their modern work settings while also finding spaces for relaxation. This dynamic office space features a dedicated coffee point, encouraging short breaks for coffee indulgence and informal conversations. At the heart of the design lies a captivating element: a dramatic ceiling that orchestrates a sense of anticipation as one enters the main reception area. This carefully curated detail engenders an exhilarating atmosphere, setting the tone for the entire space. Furthermore, this unique design motif extends to the casual meeting zone, deliberately fostering an environment conducive to unbridled ideation and collaborative brainstorming. The overarching intention is to cultivate an atmosphere that sparks unconventional thinking and propels innovation beyond traditional boundaries.

The LG flagship showroom in central Khartoum is a double-height commercial building designed to showcase LG’s products in Sudan. Influenced by the architectural style of the New Group Complex Design in Bahri, the showroom features a modern and sophisticated exterior with expansive glass facades. Inside, a spacious double-height atrium welcomes visitors, housing various product sections. The layout incorporates interactive displays, digital screens, and augmented reality setups to enhance the customer experience. The interior design follows LG’s corporate colors and utilizes innovative lighting solutions. Sustainability is also prioritized through eco-friendly features. Overall, this flagship showroom seamlessly blends LG’s identity with local influences, creating an iconic space that captivates and resonates with customers.

CTC ENGINEERING COMPLEX

This project encompasses a 28,400 square meter agricultural and engineering complex for our company. The complex includes a High-end well equipped workshop,training centre, three-story office building, an automotive showroom, spare parts centre, and various service areas for employees.

Working on this project has been the most challenging, rewarding, frustrating, and inspiring experience during my professional journey. It significantly influenced my career growth, enhancing my ability to devise innovative design solutions and improving my communication skills. Personally, overseeing the design and technical aspects of the entire project was a pivotal learning experience.

The complex consists of multiple cubic buildings primarily situated on the eastern side of the land, adjacent to the main road. The arrangement of these blocks is thoughtfully designed to cast shadows on open spaces and connecting corridors throughout the day. This design minimizes exposure to the scorching Sudanese sun, ensuring comfortable movement within the complex.

Both exterior and interior design choices reflect the company’s brand identity and the functionality of the workspace. The colours and materials chosen contribute to a soothing and serene environment that fosters productivity. While the external surfaces feature light and calming colours, the interior walls showcase vibrant tones. Additionally, the display of products and industrial elements serves as a nod to the company’s engineering focus. These design elements create cohesion and unity among all the buildings within the complex.

The interior design’s intricate details, particularly those on the ceiling, establish connections between various interior spaces. This arrangement delineates zones within the building and highlights the distinct purposes of each area within the spacious zones.

The reception desk holds a particularly prominent position, being the initial focal point upon entering the office building. Its design essentially communicates the essence of the entire establishment. Thus, the primary driving force behind this design was the creation of an exceptional, visually captivating, and contemporary centerpiece. This piece was crafted to align with the prevailing horizontal lines that are a consistent motif throughout the building’s interior. This deliberate alignment serves the dual purpose of establishing coherence and fostering a profound sense of unity across the space.

The CEC cafeteria building was created to welcome the company’s important guests and to provide a place for employees to eat during their work hours.

The main idea was to connect the new cafeteria with the existing showroom and office building. This new addition was built along the eastern side of the showroom and the northern side of the office building.

The design of the new cafeteria keeps the same style as the existing buildings creating a homogeneous design for the whole complex.

At the entrance, the central counter mirrors the industrial aesthetic of the building through the skilful combination of steel I-beams, bars, exposed brick, and weathered wood. This fusion captures the essence of the industrial theme.

The seating is organised in sections throughout the cafeteria, the centrepiece is a large wood table with a huge tree in the middle which imbue the space with a fresh vibe. Other seating offerings such banquet seating which stretches underneath the wall with the colourful wallpaper.

The interior design of the new cafeteria seamlessly aligns with the overarching design theme used in the office, showroom, and workshop areas. Simultaneously, it captures the essence of its purpose by incorporating distinct colors and fresh design elements.

Functionally, the cafeteria is divided into two main sections:

The ground floor catering to employees’ needs. A private VIP lounge designed to host special guests and events.

The industrial-style ceiling is an adaptation of the horizontal aluminium lines found in both the office building and showroom. It incorporates a series of skylights scattered throughout, contributing to a naturally illuminated and brighter environment.

In this specific section, the selection of materials and furniture intentionally embodies a distinct style, diverging from the previous design, with the aim of establishing an environment that exudes heightened elegance and sophistication, tailored for special guests.

The flooring is adorned with luxurious marble stones, lending a refined touch to the space. The partitions and ceiling, meticulously constructed from pristine gypsum, are complemented by an interplay of wooden panels, harmonizing to create an atmosphere of subtle grandeur. Soft fabric is employed for both the seating and blinds, adding a tactile and refined element that contributes to the overall ambience. This deliberate choice of materials and furnishings elevates the aesthetic of the area, crafting a more upscale and enchanting setting, specially curated for distinguished guests.

hassad farm project

HASSAD Project encompasses a sprawling 5200-acre agricultural expanse situated in the western region of Omdurman. This development comprises a total of seven distinct buildings, encompassing four residential structures, an office building, a cafeteria, a mosque, and a service workshop building. All of the structures within the project adhere to a unified design ethos, characterized by one-story layouts that feature straightforward detailing and open floor plans.

A welcoming outdoor seating area has been thoughtfully integrated between the project manager's residence and the guest house. This area is sheltered by a canopy made from steel strips, providing a cozy and inviting space.

The entrance of each residential building is adorned with a remarkable canopy, through which a palm tree elegantly traverses, creating a visually captivating element.

The design for the technicians' residence entails rooms positioned on both sides of the building, all of which open onto a central double-height courtyard. This courtyard serves as a communal area for conversations and social interactions. It is adorned with green paint, instilling a sense of relaxation and comfort within the space.
