Also named to the magazine’s All-Star team.... Earned All-County, All-Conference, Team MVP honors during her prep career... Led the Hoosier Heritage Conference in rebounds and second in scoring last season.... Exploded for a career high 35 points and 21 rebounds against Muncie Burris on Jan. 31, 2006.... Named the Munice Star Press girl’s basketball Player of the Year following the 2006 season.... Ranked 23rd in scoring and 11th in rebounding in the state of Indiana last season... Coach Vannoy on Andi: “The lack of consistent low post scoring last year was a real problem area for the team. Enter Andi Winney. Andi has an excellent variety of low post moves. She also has an outstanding touch to finish those moves with an outstanding shooting percentage. She can score just as easily with either hand and is a strong rebounder as well. Yes, she is a freshman and will need to make the adjustment to the college game, but with her work ethic and desire to play, look for her to grow up very quickly.”
