The wind bracing in the building is embedded within foot thick concrete shear walls that extend up to the seventeenth floor (outlined in blue). The shear walls are in-between column lines 3 and 6 in the outer bay of the core and between column liners 3 and 5 in the center of the core. There also is an additional offset to column line 7 that takes place on the fourth floor.

The Windows The repetitive rectangular windows were designed to look clean and simple, while they were actually rigorously detailed and well considered in all design, construction, and user phases. There is a bronze recessed channel going all the way around each window, as if each element is free-

panels relieve the massiveness of the structure. Each window was pre-assembled and transported to the site. After the installation of mullions, these single windows could be simply installed in between. This kind of curtain wall assembled on site was known as “stick construction.

RESUME RE-DESIGN

Reverend

“G stands for god.

marcellena r styles

Reverend

“G stands for god.”

“This book is based on a true story about a black Christian family that takes place over a twenty year span. (Mid 1960’s to Late 1980’s) Olivia K. Williams is the main character who is the cousin and adopted sister of one of the most famous gospel singers of the 20th Century. After a tragic family death her family becomes scattered and disconnected. As an aging mother of two, Olivia becomes ob- sessed with her dream to succeed as a run-way model and decides that her only way to the top is through her famous GrammyAward winning brother and his Hollywood “A” list associates. Once Olivia’s brother (Rev. G) gives her access into his inner circle and Los Angeles California mansion some troubling situations are revealed about him and the church where he pastors. The Carnegie Hall acclaimed gospel singer turned pastor is at the pinnacle of his career when he decides to turn against Olivia. The multiplicity of everyday stresses and family rejection eventually gets the best of Olivia. In an effort to reinvent herself, she moves back to a small town in the Midwest to re-connect with her biological siblings, and to seek solace. Her concerted effort to rebuild her reputation, gain financial stability and become restored spirituality is graciously afforded by God. Olivia’s children grow up and call her blessed! The storyline offers intensity points throughout but reaches its plateau when Rev. G begins to lose his anointing and spiritual countenance through his life-style choices. What is perceived to be a spiritual “struggle” becomes an increasingly magnified lavish homosexual life-style. Rev. G’s hunger and appetite for financial prosperity grows out of control while his rock star–like power within the black church community slowly erodes and his most precious gift is at stake.” - marcellena r styles
