Feel the space between your lungs. As you inhale, let the energy your lungs receive energize your entire chest. Smile and receive the energy. Let the energy of the breath come into your heart. Feel the life and happiness in your heart. Inhale into your heart and hold the breath. Allow all tension to gather as you hold the breath, and allow all tension to leave your body completely each time you exhale. Continue clearing the heart space for a while, until you feel finished. Now visualize your heart as a glowing light. The color of the light can be anything, but typically people see pink, vibrant green, gold, or silver. No matter which color resonates for you, allow the mind to see the heart space as glowing and alive. Each inhale now builds the energy of the heart and increases the brightness and clarity of the heart’s inner light. Feel how alive you are, feel the joy and happiness at being alive. Over time other things may come to you while performing the Heart Breath exercise, but for now enjoy being present with your newfound heart connection. As much as you are able, allow yourself to hold a feeling of life and joy within your heart as you open your eyes and continue going about your day or night.
