Take several deep breaths and relax. Feel your body and what it’s standing, sitting, or lying on. Take another deep breath and hold it for a few seconds. Exhale and relax even more deeply. Repeat one or more of the affirmations out loud. Affirmations can be spoken in a whisper or a shout or anything in between; the point is to make a sound your ears can hear. As you repeat these words, really believe the value and strength the words carry. Feel the truth in the words. Take a deep breath and feel or visualize what a person living one of these affirmations is like. Exhale and relax. Pretty easy so far, right? Set aside time to repeat these affirmations several times each week. The words eventually take hold in you and transform the way you see your world. The words feel more and more true and personal.
