Student Comments on the First Three Exercises During the process of putting together the first three exercises, several Black Forest members and friends were kind enough to give me their comments. One woman who has battled several medical issues due to a horrendous car accident had this to say about the exercises, and I believe her words will be incredibly helpful to you. I did practice these first two sections at various times of the day, various conditions—rested, tired, in pain, “medicated,” etc. Although after I had arrived at the ability to become “liquid” (a new sort of instant alpha in the liquid form for me), the effect became predictable. Relaxed, focused, more awake, more attuned, and even refreshed. Interesting. But then there was the section on the “no mind” and the perfection of the moment. I had arrived. Okay, this one returns us to where we know we need to be. Almost as if all those memories we had forgotten were resurfaced. When I was a child, I was sure I could see and taste the air.
