The scene shifts to a suburban home, where a boy named Elliott, age 10, is trying to hang out with his 16 year old brother Michael and his friends. As he returns from picking up a pizza, Elliott discovers that something is hiding in their toolshed. The creature promptly flees upon being discovered. Despite his family’s disbelief, Elliott lures the alien from the forest to his bedroom using a trail of Reese’s Pieces candy. Before he goes to sleep, Elliott realizes the alien is imitating his movements. Elliott feigns illness the next morning to stay home from school and play with the alien. Later that day Michael and their sister, 5 year old Gertie, meet the alien. They decide keep him hidden from their mother. When they ask it about its origin, the alien levitates several balls to represent its solar system and then demonstrates its powers by reviving a dead plant. At school the next day, Elliott begins to experience a psychic connection with the alien. Exhibiting signs of intoxication due to the alien drinking beer, Elliott begins freeing all the frogs from a dissection class. As the alien watches John Wayne kiss Maureen O’Hara in The Quiet Man, Elliott’s link causes him to kiss a girl he likes.

Makeshift communicator used by E.T. to phone home. Among its constitute parts is a Speak’n’Spell, an umbrella lined with tinfoil, and a coffee can filled with other random electronics. The alien learns to speak English by repeating what Gertie says as she watches Sesame Street and, at Elliott’s urging, dubs itself “E.T.” E.T. reads a comic strip where Buck Rogers, stranded, calls for help by building a makeshift communication device, and is inspired to try it himself. instagram

An advocate for the Toys for Tots campaign and developing his own charitable ventures, Steve Boyd seeks out people to lend his fighting hands. With a keen sense for astrology the secret languages of birthday’s outlines his character effortlessly. Learn moderation and get your balancing act together. Remember to return the attentions of those who care for you. Allow your mate to experience life

They are forceful and convincing when presenting their ideas and opinions, and because they understand human nature all too well, capable of mercilessly exposing hypocrisy and pretense.

most articulate spokesperson. They make very bad enemies indeed, and one would be foolish to antagonize them for they know very well how to take revenge.

The women born on this day are particularly forceful, both mentally and physically. The men may be no less strong, but tend to have an egotistical and dictatorial streak which can create conflict for them with others. Less evolved June 14 men are capable of clever duplicity. Both male and female June 14 people have strong critical leanings, and can be merciless when in a satirical or lampooning mood. June 14 people are really tough, difficult to get around or smooth-talk. Once they see the goal ahead of them, they go

Difficulties and problems abound for June 14 people, but they display remarkable expertise in managing them. Like experienced ballplayers, they know how to handle the intricacies of the game while keeping cool. Those born on this day must beware of dominating others in relationships; June 14 people often recognize problems way in advance and act on them, instead of giving their partners a chance to cope with things, even to fail (but learn from the experience). In this respect they are at best overprotective, at worst, compulsive. June 14 people value freedom of movement, both mental and physical freedom. To be imprisoned, detained

or even delayed is intolerable to them. For some June 14 people, the fear of being held against their will can border on being a phobia. Those born on this day are intensely competitive and deeply enjoy winning. Indeed, they must avoid making every area of their life a power struggle. It is best that they restrict their aggression and competitive urges to areas outside of personal relationships. They must also beware of arrogance and overconfidence (particularly June 14 males) and of pushing their luck too far. The sign of gemini rules the shoulders arms, hands and lungs. Natives of this sign are noted for their graceful arms and have beautifully shaped hands. They are dexterous and well coordinated and often excel at sports and dance. Geminis are often called the jack of all trades, and are happiest when involved with many projects and a wide range of people. Gemini persons seem to look young longer. They vacillate between despondency and uephoria, and seem to run on their nerves.

Paintings They call me Jake Walker, Im an artist and that’s why you love me. I have made a decision to talk about my work as little a humanly possible for the next few years. I have had to speak about my practice a lot in the last couple due to my involvement at Gertrude St and what I say in interviews is starting to affect decision making around my work. I feel that long term this will inhibit the paintings and become a problem. The questions asked was, Would you rather dress like someone from 100 years ago or like someone from the future?
