LIFE STORY THURSDAY, AUGUST 5 · 7:30 PM THE BAKER-BAUM CONCERT HALL Smetana’s lush String Quartet, “From My Life,” was written as an intimate confession, as well as a tonal biography of his life, his loves, and in response to his deafness.
