Annabel Monaghan Teen Author of A Girl Named Digit Join author Annabel Monaghan for an inspiring teen program. Her recently published book, A Girl Named Digit, is a romance-thriller, tied together with some humor and a little math. The book is also about coming to terms with who you are, accepting your gifts and deficiencies, and finding your place in the world. Patrons of all ages are welcome to attend. A book signing will follow with books provided by New England Mobile Book Fair. Ms. Monaghan will talk about why it took her so long to admit that she wanted to be a writer and why she kept convincing herself she'd really be better off as an investment banker (spoiler: she wasn't!). She’ll talk about Digit, and many aspects of the writing process including fiction vs. non-fiction, getting published, the big deal about book covers and why Cinderella was not an interesting character! A Girl Named Digit is Annabel Monaghan’s first novel for teens. She co-authored Click! The Girls Guide to Knowing What You Want and Making it Happen, a non-fiction guide to positive thinking for teens. A graduate of Duke University, she also holds an MBA from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.
