Clearing out your living environment signifies that you are ready to let go of the past, to welcome in new energy of the future. We’ll share tips on organizing every room of your home, how to honestly assess what you need, and show you how to get the whole family involved for a clutter-free home and mind.
Body Nutrition: Create your Nutritional Lifestyle: Stop the diets! Many of us have struggled with weight loss, and it’s easy to see why. Where do we find the truth with all the different views on what is good for us and what isn’t? Where do we even start? Your Nutritional Lifestyle will show you how to balance your eating habits, your emotional connection to them, and give you a basic understanding of the foods you eat to ensure you’re properly nourishing your body. We’ll show you how easy it can be to eat well - no gimmicks and nothing unnatural! Nutrition Fundamentals: Are you intimidated by cooking or planning meals? Have no fear! This workshop will cover all the fundamentals of nutrition including calories, serving sizes, nutritional information labels and the glycemic index. We’ll even cover some myths and misconceptions about nutrition - you might be surprised at what you discover. Macronutrients, Vitamins and Minerals: What do carbs do for your body? What are the different types of fats? Many of us want to know more about what goes into the food we put in our bodies. We’ll tell you exactly what carbs, proteins and fats do and what foods you can find them in. You’ll learn all about vitamins and minerals like calcium and iron. You’ll be able to choose foods confidently and be sure you’re getting all the goodness you need!
BODY: Exercise How to Work Out: We all know a few good exercises that we enjoy doing, but many of us lack the confidence and knowledge to try something new. We’ll cover the components of fitness, proper posture and form, heart rate and equipment. You’ll find out that exercise can be varied and fun! Different Workout Programs: Whether you’re new to exercise or barely break a sweat after jogging around the park, we’ve got a workout program for you. The Ticket’s Gold, Silver and Bronze exercise programs are tailor-made to your fitness level. We’ll teach you how to tell what level you’re on, cover some basic exercises for each level and ways to change them up for
Spirit: Meditation: Meditation is a practice that quiets your mind and allows you to enter into a state of energy. Each one of us has the capacity to quiet our minds and achieve peacefulness. There are many techniques for meditating including; listening to music, exercising, dancing and singing. No matter your personal belief system, you can meditate in a way that will ground you and bring you inner calm and focus. Journaling: Journaling is an excellent way to express your thoughts and emotions. You may have heard of a gratitude journal or a travel journal. In The Ticket, I recommend a Lifestyle Journal. We’ll work through the different ways of journaling and how it can enrich your spirit.
