Beat Lehner was born on 1988 in Linz, Austria. After he made his Higher School Certificate and completed his military service, he worked one year as an Intern at Getzner Textil AG in Bludenz, Austria, focusing on Design. After one year of studying Business Administrations at the University of Vienna, he studied Fine Arts at the University for Applied Arts, completing his Diploma program in July 2015. In 2011, he made an Installation for the Arts Electronica Centre in Linz. His last exhibition at the “Palais Palffy” in Vienna (“7 Vorlieben”) was the first show, curated by Beat Lehner. His work today revolves around the theme of the “Optimistic Modell”, which represents to Lehner the attempt to think pink no matter how complicated an issue gets.
