101 Secklow Hundred Mound – Milton Keynes’ Ancestral Meeting Place On the Verge An illustrated talk by Martin Petchey, archaeologist. The Secklow Mound is a Scheduled Ancient Monument (a nationally important archaeological site) that lies behind the Milton Keynes Central Library. The low turf-built mound served as a meeting place for the elders of the Secklow Hundred and is close to the point where three parishes meet, a typically isolated spot for a Saxon ‘moot’ or meeting place. Arts for Health Milton Keynes Whilst much of the 400+ piece Milton Keynes University Hospital art collection is available to view in and around the Hospital, this is a rare chance to have a guided tour of some of the works featured on our curated Art Trail, and perhaps experience some of those which are a little off the beaten track. Each session features both a short Reflections On A Tide (1990), Stuart Reid (1 hour) and long tour (2 hour) which will start at the same time and run concurrently.
