HORNED & POLLED BULLS
TWO YR. OLD BULLS & YEARLINGS
SATURDAY, MARCH 7, 2026 | 1:30 PM | AT THE RANCH - MOOSE JAW, SK

20 years of hosting a bull sale and over four generations of selling bulls. Starting with numerous consignment sales and then stepping out into on our own with sale partners Mike McDonald and Mark Ferrara at Johnstone Auction Mart, a family ran business exceeding 50 years of family ties. This year marks a milestone for our operation.
Over 4 generations has allowed us to meet and get to know so many great people and families. It is the best part of the seed stock business. Thank you to our valued customers, your support over the years has been very much appreciated. Your support guides our program in producing rancher bulls that can go out and work in the commercial industry.
We have always placed a significant amount of time and effort into the selection of the herd bulls we use and the replacement females we retain in the herd. The cows behind these bulls are ran the same as our commercial cows, side by side. Udder quality is something we pride ourselves in. Disposition of our cowherd is second to none, without giving up vigor at birth.
We offer both horned and polled genetics and manage them under the exact same conditions. Our two year old bulls after weaning are basically backgrounded through the winter. They receive the same TMR ration as our heifer calves; meaning our yearling weights may not be as high as some you will come across. Then in the spring they go to native grass. We don’t feed during the summer, it allows the bulls to grow and develop. With experiencing multiple drought years, we introduced the sale bulls to hay and grain in August, then trailed home December 1, 2025 and then introduced to a TMR ration
Our bulls are built to last with longevity in mind. These boys are stout made with tremendous muscle and tops. They are high in quality and have the ability to adjust to any condition. Buy with confidence, they will out produce themselves.
Looking forward to visiting Sale Day!

22M is a very complete bull - short marked being brown to the ground with super eye pigment and great testicle development.
His mother, 19G, is a solid producer, with a nice udder. We have calved out 2 sets of 7J daughters and they are phenomenal - flat, small teats with lots of milk.
In 2025, we used 22M on our cows, can’t wait to see what we get.

“Marty”, sired

This is true herd bull in the making. You won’t find many bulls with the extension through the front end, depth of chest and big rip shape and overall style. Possibly one of the stoutest Hereford yearlings to sell this spring. Tremendous thick hair coated calf with exceptional scrotal development for a middle of March born bull.
25F is a favorite Bam Bam daughter that throws progeny with that extra stoutness and performance. Check out his actual WW, with no creep, just mamma’s milk and brown dry grass.

This is a bull that is sought after for his color and hair alone. Nexgen is quite the individual. His mother and grandmother have raised multiple bulls. He has been a standout since birth and was born on the day of our sale last year. Nice actual weaning weight of 762 lbs, no creep, and brown grass too.
Strong pedigree combination of Sensation, Hondu 6049, 1321 and 1229. Spitting image of his sire at the same age.

First sons of our Fenton Bull 114K, purchased out of the 2023 Medicine Hat Bull Sale, as the Reserve Champion Bull, from Blair and Jessica Fenton. 114K brings extra length of body and overall mass with some size to his calves. Very good hair coats on these 114K’s. 111N is a maternal half brother to the Lot 1 bull in this sale.

First son to sell out of Merle Wyatt’s 4K bull, we purchased out of the 2023 Medicine Hat Bull Sale. He was the lead off bull in Merle’s set of sale bulls. 4K is a moderate, super stout bull with an intriguing pedigree tracing back to Mrnak’s Advance 6100. 110N nice disposition bull with lots of hair and top. Stretchy bull that will mature into a nice size herd bull. Maternal brother sold to Hawkins in last year’s sale.

Another 114K short marked, hairy bull. Very complete type of a bull. This is a unquie breeding with Fenton, Colyer and Cooper breeding. Possibly a first. This is an interesting genetic combination. 11G is a direct daughter of our donor cow, Robin 65Z, that has mutiple daughters in the herd.

A direct son of 79K, our 2024 Reserve Agribition Champion Bull. Look how hairy and deep flanked this bull is with a large scrotal. 79K adds maturity to his son. 9J is a fault free 6049 daughter and is the mother to Lot 8. Very complete bull that will sire a nice group of calves.

9121 AUGUSTA 13A Maternal Grand Dam to Lot 18

Another complete made Knock Out son that is very similar in pattern to his brother, Lot 18. Bull with extra rib shape. Very good testicle development backed by a very nice dam. The grandmother, 14C, is still here with a picture perfect udder at 10 years of age. The 8014 are very good milking females.

If you are looking for cow makers this is your guy. Short-marked, hairy rascal. His mother, 16E, is a moderate framed cow with lots of milk and good udder quality. She should be, her mother, 65Z, was a donor cow here and has multiple daughters in our herd.

Dark hided, 79K son, marked similar to his sire. 21M is a twin and his mother raised both of them. Check out his October 18th weaning weight (and we do not creep feed). From his picture and video he’s long with lots of round to him.

Here’s another Marty! and look he goes back to our donor cow, 5C. Really like the style and look of this bull. He looks like a herd bull. Short-marked with pigment. You can’t ask for much more. This is a super pedigree combination.

Another 3J son out of a 9121 daughter. Short-marked bull with lots of style and depth. His full brother sold to Clint and Darryl Brost in last year’s sale. Morkie is much similar to last year’s bull.

Brother to Lot 24 in last year’s sale.

90M is a young May bull, that may have the widest top in the sale. Don’t miss this guy, he is deceiving how thick he is. Again, short-marked with lots of lenght. I really like this bull.

Brown-eyed bull, 100% on both sides. This bull will sire a nice group of calves with extra length of body.

The last 23B son to sell, but still maintaining the high quality she possessed in all of her bulls. Very good udders behind this bull on both sides. Calving the first 7J daugthers and they are exceeding our expectations.

86M may get the biggest testicle award in the group. Moderate in frame, but makes up for it in quality and phenotype. Could of been higher in the sale order, but its challenging to put in order all these good bulls.

Another short-marked 42J son, marked similar to the other “Marty’s”. A bull that has that extra length of body, meaning more pounds on your calves for extra dollars.
Both 2J and 8F are powerhouse cows with nice udders and foot structure. Don’t miss the opportunity here.

This is a bigger framed bull that will mature into a good sized herd sire. His dam, 18E, is a larger framed cow with a good udder and produces good calves every year.

Another thick, short-marked bull that has lots of length and thickness. We purchased his dam from Ayrey Herefords out of the Premier Hereford Bull Sale a couple years back. She has been a solid producer. Check out this bull’s video. The picture doesn’t show how complete this bull is. Everytime I clicked the button his tailhead went straight up. He isn’t made that way.

This pedigree is an intersting twist. 81M is horned from two polled parents. We purchased this polled dam out of the Square D Polled Hereford Dispersal Sale. She was in service to a Ned and Jan Ward bred bull, Tuff 269G.
81M comes in a unique package. He’s moderate in frame, but has that style and eye appeal of a herd bull.
His nickname is “Jimmy.”

Moderate framed bull that may prefer wide-open spaces. He hates the crowd, but is easy to move one on one. His grandmother is the dam of Lot 24.

To Kevin, Kade, Jace and Hadley Turner, Layne Giofu, Charles White, my dad, Russell Andrews, and our son Luke Andrews for blowing and clipping sale bulls for pictures. It is greatly appreciated!
