Trio of awards for agency W

IRRAL-based Karl Tatler Estate Agents & Lettings has won three top titles at the Lettings Agency of the Year Awards. One of the largest residential sales and lettings agents in Wirral, Karl Tatler Lettings was up against 5,000 other offices at the awards ceremony in London. The company won Gold for Best Northern Small Lettings Agency, Silver for Best Property Management Agency, and Bronze for Best Technology and Online Lettings Agency. The firm was also shortlisted in the Best Training and Development category. Managing director Karl Tatler said: “We are immensely proud to be honoured once again with these prestigious awards. These are the Oscars of our industry and the awards are testament to the dedication and expertise of my

fantastic staff. Delivering exceptional customer service is at the core of what we do, so to have our hard work recognised nationally with a hat-trick of awards is magnificent.” Judged by an independent panel of industry experts and overseen by The Property Ombudsman, the Lettings Agency of the Year Awards are recognised as the benchmark for excellence in the lettings industry. Dave Seed, head of lettings at Karl Tatler, added: “The awards are a great acknowledgement of the increasing success we have seen year-on-year, with the last 12 months resulting in an increase of lets in excess of 20%. “We have also seen a significant rise in the number of landlords transferring their property portfolios to us from other agents predominantly by recommendation. It is very rewarding to have this level of service for property management acknowledged

by achieving second place in the whole of the UK.” Hosted by four times Olympic gold winner Sir Matthew Pinsent on May 25, the awards ceremony was the culmination of a rigorous judging process. Carried out over four months, an extensive review of the entrants included hundreds of telephone interviews and mystery shopping exercises. The Lettings Agency of the Year Awards and the Estate Agency of the Year Awards are in association with The Sunday Times and The Times. This latest accolade follows success for Karl Tatler at the 2011 Estate Agency of the Year Awards, when the firm won Gold awards for Best Small UK Agency, Best Small Northern Agency and Best Customer Service; a Bronze award for Best Training and Development, and a Silver for Single Lettings Office Northern.
