In August of 2004, when Prosper was a one-stoplight town and Preston was a two lane Texas highway, Dr. Jill Sentlingar opened Prosper’s first dental practice, Prosper Family Dentistry. She opened Prosper Family Dentistry with a desire to develop a family dental practice focused on comprehensive oral health care founded on building relationships in the dental chair and in the community. In 2006, Dr. Lara Coseo joined the practice to serve the needs of the growing community. With the addition of Dr. Cara Kessler in August 2016, Prosper Family Dentistry is now prepared to grow with the town’s booming population well in to the future. The Prosper Family Dentistry team has over 120 years of combined experience and they are committed to quality care where the patient comes first. They strive each day to increase the value of their services by incorporating the latest technological advances while still adhering to well founded and time proven principles. • All 3 doctors graduated at the top of their class and were elected to the prestigious Odontological and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Societies. • Our doctors are committed to constantly advancing their skills and techniques and complete over 100 hours of continuing education a year. • Our doctors are trained in advanced treatment for TMJ disorders, implant placement, dental sleep therapy, artistic veneers and Invisalign treatment for teens and adults. • Dr. Lara was awarded a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2014. • Dr. Cara completed a Master’s degree prior to her doctoral degree with a focus on the TMJ. • Dr. Jill and Dr. Lara have both participated in multiple local and international mission events to bring dentistry to the underserved. The relationships we build with our patients are more than surface level. You will find that everyone at Prosper Family Dentistry genuinely cares about your individual needs and desires to make you comfortable in the dental chair. You will be greeted by name and treated like a member or our family. At the core of our beliefs is comprehensive care. We don’t believe in just putting a band-aid on a problem. We want you to have a healthy smile for a life-time. We utilize a thorough exam, 3D imaging and photographs to develop a plan to meet your needs and address the root of any problem areas that are present. We don’t believe in high pressure dentistry. We are members of the service industry, not the sales industry. We work each day to serve you. At Prosper Family Dentistry, we believe our job is to educate you and help you develop a path to health. For some patients that takes two visits over 1 week, for other patients, it may take 15 visits over a few years. As long as we can take a step forward towards health, we are making progress!
