Who am I ? . . . ‘‘These photos you are going to see is taken by me, and me only.’’ I see you’ve find your way of wiseness to this book that I’ve made. To make you a little more comfortable, I’m going to interduce myself. My name is Johanna Peterson and welcome to my own world of photography. I am a 19 year old woman and I live in Swedenn. I own a Canon EOS 1000D that I bought in 2011, which is almost 2 years ago. What inspired me to start photographing was my best friend who also owns a canera and takes photographys, and I really admired her work and wanted to start off from scratch on my own. I photograph any moment that I believe is worth catching.I remember that when I was younger, I very often took my fathers camera and went outside to photograph flowers. The very first camera I ever got was the camera on my cellphone, which wasn’ät that great. Nowadays, I go to a high school called LBS in Kungsbacka where I study photography and grapåhic design. I’ve learned quite a lot from going to that school about different aspects and a special pattern you can follow and have hidden ‘‘messages’’ in your photos, to make it even more interesting to the viewer. 01

The whole idea of this book is to get the interesting point of view of the world through a macro object. You are going to see everything from photographs of animals, to people, to different kinds of additions and a lot more.

‘‘I photograph any moment that I believe is worth cathing.’’

My macro object is a Tamron 90mm Macro, I bought it almost a year ago from a guy who was the brother of my boss. He sold it to me for about 300 dollars, pretty good deal and as from the moment I started using it, I fell in love with it.

I incourage everyone out there who is reading this, give photography a shot. Everything is worth saving as a photograph. Photographys tell a story. Brings back memories, and keep them forever. It’s not everything, but it’s not nothing. I want to thank my parents for incouraging me to buy my first camera and have supported me all the way. I also want to thank my best friend Frida for inspiring me. Thank you.

To the left: This is my magic tool and the objectiv that put this whole book together. My Tamron Macro Lens 90mm f2.8 for my Canon. At the bottom: My baby. This is my Canon EOS 1000D. I have this among other cameras like a Polaroid camera that I got from my grandmother and another from WWII. However, this one works. Both pictures are taken from google.

But, enough said. Enjoy your time here and I hope you’ll take a look at all of my other books like ‘‘Sweet mother of God’’ and ‘‘Sleep, rest and other’’. Until next time, have a good time.

The reason why this book is going to be interesting to you is because this is the only objectiv all of these photos are taken with. All of the photos you are going to see in this book is taken by me, and me only. 02

Afterwords... I would like to thank my parents, Gina and Peo, for all your warm support and for throughout the hard times. I would also like to give many thanks to my best friend Frida for encouraged me to enter the world of photography at all and also has given me a lot of tips through the years that we’ve known each other.

up on the craziest things I’ve come up with. Ineta Grybauskaitė, Malin Edvarsson, Matilda Sjöholm/Andersson, Veronia Timsbro, etc. You guys are awesome and you were great models. I hope you enjoyed being photographed by me because I thought it was a real joy to photograph you guys!

I would also like to thank all of my teachers at the Ljud och Bildskolan who taught me all I know and always gave me good grades. I think I deserve them. Jokes aside, I thank you guys for being good at teaching and for have taught me so much about my camera.

Last but not least, I would like to thank my shoes, for always being there for me. Night and day. Always when I need them. I love you guys. You always keep my feet warm, and you’re always just standing there in the hall and waiting for me to put you on. You guys are the best, I love you the most.

I would also like to thank my boyfriend for being such a good sport and for putting out with me rubbing coloring things in his face and is always there to support me through anything. I would also like to thank him for being such a good model and I can tell that he always does his very best. I love you so much, you are the best. I’d also like to thank my dog Molly, oddly enough, for being so good at sitting still for a long time, if you have meatballs in your hand, of course. I would also like to thank all of my models who have stepped

Jokes aside, I hope you enjoyed my book and I hope you’ll check out my other books, two of them is written on my informationpage in the beginning. I also hoped you liked my photos and I also hope that I got you inrpired to maybe even enter the world of photography yourselves. I have a couple of tips that I can give you if I actually did inspired you. The first thing you have to do is to find out what kind of person you are. Do you like photos that are taken the old, fashioned way or do you like photos of the most digital

kind? Though I have a Canon, which is basically a modern way to photograph. However, to be totally honest, I actually enjoy to take photos more the old fashioned way. I have a polariod camera at home, without a film in it, so I don’t really have any access to it. Although, I do know that you can find one on the internet. Generally everthing is accessible on the internet. I would have got one myself but when I’m looking, I’m short on cash or I’m just too lazy. The second thing is to try yourself forward. Take a couple of advice from a couple of friends and maybe photograph them. Or just search on the internet for inspiration. Search on ‘‘photography’’ or maybe even a special theme that you like. I, myself, find fantasy photographs of make believe characters are very interesting, like Walt Disney characters. If you, as me, find that fascinating, I believe you should give it a go. It might not be as extraordinary as you imagine, so don’t get your hopes up too much. The third step, when you have tested out your new camera and have a couple of photographs that you are satisfied with, download photoshop and try it out. It is very hard in the

beginning and you want to be good at it all at once, but that is not going to happen. You are going to have to start off from the beginning if it’s your first time. A tips is to visit a website called ‘‘’’ and watch his videos, that’s where I started and it was to a lot of help. He is very good at explaining and he takes one step at a time. Once you’ve done all that and learned a little bit about photoshop and also edited your photos, it’s time for step four; put them out on the internet. You need to hear other people’s oppinions, even though you might not like it that much. You need criticisim how you can make your photos better and your editing of photos better, and what else they’d like to see. Also, write below the photo that critism is welcomed, so people know that they can tell you what they think. I hope my way of guiding you into the world of photography was helpful and that you like my work and you’d like to see more of it. Visit my wesite and go in and like my facebookpage. Name of website and facebook page is on the back cover. Thank you for giving my book a chance and I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you so very much, and I hope you’ll check out the rest of my world. I’ll see you out there.

Hi there! I can see you finally made it to the end of my book, hope you liked it. If you want to see more ofg my work, go in and like my Facebook page, visit my website or follow me on instagram.
