The city of Lima, also known as the City of Kings, was founded by Francisco Pizarro on January 18, 1535 on the right bank of the Rímac River. Lima is an endearing historical centre, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988, it acts as 'The Gateway to Peru' and is filled with many prestigious museums that offer excellent insight into the country's rich heritage. DAY 04: CUZCO After breakfast enjoy a morning tour of the city and nearby ruins. Visit Cuzco’s Main Square, known in Inca times as Hucaypata or “The Warriors Square” and the scene of many key events in Cuzco’s history. See the Cathedral and Korikancha Temple, dedicated to the worship of the sun and whose walls were plated with gold sheets. Afterwards visit the ruins above Cuzco: Kenko, Pucapucara, Tambomachay and the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, an imposing example of Inca military architecture. DAY 08: LIMA - PARACAS This morning board a tourist bus to Paracas. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Optional Nazca Lines flight: Transfer to the small airport to take flight over the Nazca Lines. The Nazca Lines are a series of ancient geoglyphs located in the Nazca Desert of Peru. They have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight in Paracas.

DAY 09: PARACAS Start the day with a visit to the wildlife rich Ballestas Islands. The reserve is home to seven seal rookeries along with approximately five thousand sea lions. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Optional: visit the Paracas National Reserve. Explore the oldest marine reserve in Peru, it incorporates a variety of marine habitats and tropical desert. This morning you will be transferred to the domestic airport for your flight to Iguassu. Upon arrival in Iguassu you will be met and transferred to the Argentinean Iguassu National Park to view the wonderful Iguassu Falls. Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil meet where the Rio Iguassu joins the Rio Paraná in the northeastern Argentinean province of Misiones. It is here that Iguassu Falls (meaning 'Big Water' in the local Guaraní language) plunges over hard granite into a wide gorge from a series of gigantic waterfalls. Afterwards you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Iguassu.

DAY 09: MENDOZA Mendoza is famous for its wine country. The ancient craft of wine-making was first introduced to Argentina during the 16th century by missionary priests crossing the Andes from Chile. The vines flourished and Argentina has since earned international status as the world's fifth largest producer and major exporter of premium quality wine. DAY 03: DUBLIN - BLARNEY CASTLE KILLARNEY This morning you will depart Ireland’s capital and visit the town of Blarney, home to the famous Blarney Castle. Dating back to 1446, the castle is a tower house built on solid limestone within wonderful grounds. At the top of the Tower you will find the legendary Stone of Eloquence; kiss it and you’ll never again be lost for words. DAY 05: KILLARNEY - BURREN REGION (CLIFFS OF MOHER) - LIMERICK Today travel northwards to Tarbert, where you will take a short boat ride across the mouth of the River Shannon to land on Clare’s shore at Killimer. From here you will travel along the coast to the Cliffs of Moher, the most majestic cliffs in Ireland. Enjoy a tour of the Burren Region, often described as lunar. The rocks hide many caves and ‘Turloughs’, an interesting phenomenon which transforms lakes into fields during the summer. Afterwards, continue on to Limerick. DAY 10: VICTORIA FALLS DAY 07: GREATER KRUGER AREA Today there is the option to do an early morning Game Drive. In the later afternoon enjoy an evening drive. After tracking the ‘Big 5’ enjoy a sundowner, and the opportunity to see the small but very important local nocturnal animals. Weather permitting you will enjoy a boma (bush) dinner. Today enjoy a tour of Victoria Falls and learn about the history of the Falls as well as the flora, fauna, birds & wildlife and other points of interest Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
