Dear LIQUI MOLY Friends, Our LIQUI MOLY family worldwide gives us the opportunity to experience something that is probably rare in this intensity: the difference between very good and brilliant. 2016 once again demonstrates that we are not content with a performance that is simply very good: we constantly strive to be outstanding. Unique. Brilliant. Brilliance means achieving exceptional things together again and again, and it means that our DNA is infused with 1,000 percent passion. This forms the basis of our success and underpins the sustainably positive development of our sales and profits. It is this growth that allows us to generate taxes and social security contributions with more than 800 employees, which in turn benefits the common good in many different ways. But brilliance not only shows itself at the business level. It is also reflected in our social responsibility. Our success should not close our eyes to the fact that there are people who are forced to live in poverty and destitution. This is the mission of the ERNST PROST FOUNDATION – as of recently with popular celebrity support. Ex professional boxer Axel Schulz will now be acting as an honorary ambassador, in particular dedicated to serving the interests of underprivileged children. It is these three principles - “operate successfully,” “serve the common good” and “provide affectionate care and support” - that define the brilliance of our worldwide LIQUI MOLY family worldwide. And these three principles are one of the reasons why we are met with enthusiasm day by day in all corners of the world. thing that everyone noticed right away: Brandenburg-born Schulz is likable, down-to-earth and genuine – the perfect popular figurehead.

He used to throw his weight behind every punch – from now on former heavyweight boxer Axel Schulz will be making the most of his celebrity status to put a smile on children’s faces. Schulz’s ambassador function for the ERNST PROST STIFTUNG sees him embarking on another of his charity projects. This happy news was announced jointly by founder Ernst Prost, foundation manager Kerstin Thiele and the new foundation ambassador Axel Schulz himself at a press conference held at the company’s headquarters in Ulm. There was one

The idea for this collaboration was born at this year’s Löwenkinder e.V. summer festival in Frankfurt/Oder. Löwenkinder e. V. runs a competence center for children suffering from very serious and life-shortening illnesses a project with which both the ex-boxer and the ERNST PROST FOUNDATION are involved. Everyone quickly realized that the chemistry was right and that there was a joint desire to get something going. Schulz already had his first “official” appearance for the foundation on December 4 at the grounds of the first division ice hockey team Eisbären Berlin. Here he presided over a charitable auction. The funds raised go towards supporting the charity organization Straßenkinder Berlin e.V.

It's not a problem in the summer. But in the cold the fluid wax turns solid. It crystallizes – and the crystals clog up the fuel filter. Then the engine stops receiving fuel and comes to a standstill. Marine Single Grade SAE 30 A reliable lubricant for universal use: Marine Single Grade SAE 30 is a mineral base single grade oil for petrol and diesel engines with a naturally high viscosity index. Marine ATF Marine ATF is an ATF oil based on synthesis technology and cutting-edge additive technology designed especially for the marine sector. It is suitable for engines and transmissions such as reversing gears, power steering systems, control systems, trim systems and hydrostatic transmissions as well as hydraulic and mechanical systems which require the use of an ATF oil. CE: N A M R O F R E EXCELLENT P ITE L E S E L A S E OUR CHINES Successful annual DU-HOPE retailer conference The 2016 LIQUI MOLY Retailer Conference organized by DU-HOPE was very well attended. More than 75 retailers from all over China took up the invitation to come to Jurong (Jiangsu Province) to engage in discussion on current and future success-related topics. The main focus was on expanding and exploiting sales channels in the market, strengthening individual sales teams and creating win-win situations based on product innovations. DU-HOPE technicians presented Truck oils, the Special Tec series and many other new LIQUI MOLY products. Awards to the best retailers in categories such as best sales success, best service, best improvement etc. were a particular highlight.
