Festival No.6 will take place over the weekend of September 14-16 in one of the UK’s most beautiful and iconic landmarks Portmeirion, Wales, the home of the cult TV series, The Prisoner. BACKGRO U ND Festival No.6 is born out of the desire and passion to create a completely distinctive, premium and intimate festival experience for the 25 – 40 year old demographic and in doing so, utilise the breathtakingly beautiful environment of Portmeirion and the uniqueness of the villages inspiring venues, structures, accommodation and architecture. Portmeirion is more than a beautiful backdrop; it will form the infrastructure and cradle our creativity with intimate live performances from iconic bands, amazing installations, surreal street theatre and impromptu interactive happenings all woven together to create a magical environment that you can totally immerse yourself in.

The entire resort will be closed off for exclusive use by festival guests; instead of pre fabricated venues, the main stage, accommodation and camping fields will be positioned with stunning views across the bay.

- ARTS & CULTURE Portmeirion will come alive with intimate readings and talks, exclusive film screenings with live soundtracks, stand-up comedy, art trails through the ancient woods, story telling in the clearings, master classes, pop-up theatre and art installations.

- F O O D & W INE From the pop up pop-up champagne and oyster bar in the Portmeirion gardens to the festival food stalls that we have chosen with care, with particular emphasis on local and organic produce, Festival No.6 will include a tantalizing food and drinks menu for all budgets.

- VENUES In addition to the greenfield festival site with main stage and range of bespoke venues, Festival No.6 will utilise the whole village of Portmeirion with programmed performances and activity in the Town Hall, The Colonnade Gardens and Estuary stage along the River Dwyryd.

- Music Discerning participants deserve something more, so we’ve lovingly put together a bespoke bill for Festival No.6 from iconic headline bands such as New Order and Primal Scream, to the some of the most amazing DJ talent of all time.

Mainstage Moments to Iconic Intimate Gigs Festival No.6 will boast a 24 hour soundtrack worthy of a weekend without musical boundaries. Guests will enjoy epic main stage moments from iconic legends and witness unusual performances in unique spaces; outlandish happenings and intimate gatherings, visual arts and spoken word. The first Live Acts Announced include the electronic revolutionaries NEW ORDER and legendary live band and rock revels PRIMAL SCREAM along with a DJ line up that includes FRANCOIS K, EROL ALKAN & MR SCRUFF.

Festival No.6 is born out of the desire to cater for a slightly more mature audience for which there is a distinct lack of product offerings particularly in the North of England. We feel that there are many people who have enjoyed festivals in the past, however due to factors such as age, matured attitudes and family are much more selective about what they would normally attend.
