Offering respite accommodation to individuals with Autism in Coventry, Warwickshire & West Midlands


About Warren Respite Warren Cottage is accommodation offered to families for use as respite. It is provided by the Island Project, a charity which amongst other things runs an independent autism specialist school The Warren Cottage is set in a secluded rural location yet conveniently only approximately 5 minutes’ drive from the village of Meriden in Warwickshire, and is no more than 15 minutes from the NEC, International Railway and Airport and M42/M6 and M6 Toll. Meriden Village is approximately 2 miles away providing local amenities including shops. This traditional cottage is of brick construction with a tiled roof and oil fired central heating throughout. There is plenty of character within the property with exposed timber beams in all rooms. The property is surrounded by farmland and has a large garden to accompany it. The accommodation comprises, on the ground floor, entrance hall, kitchen, utility, dining room, living room, study and a bedroom with en-suite. On the first floor there are two further bedrooms and a bathroom.

Respite Accommodation Warren Cottage is available for short breaks to offer respite to individuals with autism and other related diagnosis. The accommodation is offered fully furnished. Users of this respite accommodation are required to provide their own carers, medication and food.

Making a Booking The accommodation is available to students at the Island Project School free of charge. The Charity will accept bookings from other individuals for a nominal donation to be paid to The Island Project Charity. To ensure availability please contact us or call us on 01675 442 588.
