Commissioned to do contract work for a residential deck on Whippoorwill Lake in Monrovia. The design called for innovation and sensitivity to the context and style of the Mid-Century house. Took field measurements and constructed a rough survey for the unique topography of the site. Created construction documents consisting of Elevations, Sections, Details, and Structural. Developed Sketch-Up models to accurately depict the effect of the continually developing design. Attended client meetings and developed a strong, trusting relationship with the home-owners. Worked closely with vendors and consultants to build accurate details and budgets.
