Phone:  312-­‐459-­‐8798   Email:BrightPink@help.org       April  5,  2012     Mrs.  Nicole  Leinbach   Writing  for  Managers  Professor   Columbia  College  Chicago   600  South  Michigan  Ave   Chicago  IL,  60661     Dear  Mrs.  Leinbach:     In  2004,  519,000  people  died  from  breast  cancer.  It’s  the  second  most  diagnosed  cancer  affecting   people  today.  Bright  Pink  Is  a  non-­‐profit  organization  that  focuses  on  prevention  and  early  detection  of   breast  cancer  and  ovarian  cancer  in  young  women  while  providing  support  to  high-­‐risk  individuals.       Bright  Pink  is  holding  Fab  Fest  2012  to  raise  money  for  those  young  women  in  need  and  to  raise   awareness  about  prevention  and  detection  of  breast  and  ovarian  cancer.  Our  goal  this  year  is  to  raise   $200,000!    We  are  currently  about  half  way  there  and  need  your  help  to  make  this  event  a  success.       Fab  Fest  2012  will  be  held  on  April  15th  from  9am  until  4pm  at  the  Four  Seasons  Hotel  in  Chicago  IL.  The   event  will  feature  Giuliana  Rancic,  who  is  a  recent  breast  cancer  survivor.  It  is  a  full  day  of  inspirational   workouts,  pampering  spa  treatments,  insider  beauty  tips,  goal-­‐setting  workshops,  and  VIP  gift  bags.  To   participate  in  Fab  Fest  2012  fundraise  $500  for  individuals  or  $1800  for  groups  of  four.  All  donations  are   tax  deductible.     To  start  your  own  fundraising  page,  or  to  donate  to  someone  else’s,  please  visit  BrightPink.org.     Know  that  every  donation  is  a  positive  impact  on  young  women’s  lives!  Thank  you  for  your  consideration   of  this  event  and  this  organization.     Sincerely,         Lindsay  Jahnke   Bright  Pink
