Chapter One

Moving Day

“Honey, time to wake up. We are leaving in one hour!” Coming mom!

I don’t want to move out of this house.

It is the best house in the world,

because it has a kid’s bonus room and a

huge backyard with everything!

Brent honey why don’t you just give it a try? Mom, you don’t understand, Quinn will miss me so much!

Quinn is my best friend. She has dark

brown hair and is super funny. I hate my school.

I have a hard time at school.

I always get distracted because the kids

were mean to me.

All that I thought about was them being mean instead of concentrating on my school work.

I know all of the kids think I am odd, but so what?

Why can’t people wear what they want?

You know that feeling where you feel like you want to punch something?

That’s what I felt..

I hopefully can see Quinn every once in a

while, I think she will understand because Quinn always understands my feelings.

I have ADHD and Anxiety,

but I only have attacks when I am worried or

nervous about something. and this was one of the times I was nervous!

Chapter 2 Time to go

Honey, time to leave! said Brent’s mom.

okay I'm just saying my goodbyes to the empty

house.

I lived there for 4 years. There was not one stuffed animal in my room left.

I hopped in our blazing red Honda and we

drove off.

I felt a little tear drop go down my cheek but I

said everything is going to be great and plus God is always on my side.

Then suddenly everyone saw the new house except me.

I was in the back seat sleeping on my bright

pink pillow with a bright orange blanket over me.

It took about 5 hours to get to the new house.

Chapter 3 The Pool

I finally saw the house.

I couldn’t even believe my eyes!

Our new house is gigantic and their is a huge

swimming pool!

Right when I got into the house I whipped on

my bathing suit and grabbed my pet turtle Louis.

We jumped in the pool which was so cold

because no one had lived there for about 5 years.

We didn’t care at all.

We felt like taking a nap on a raft in the pool. After a few hours, we were still sleeping and we suddenly felt a current in the water.

I jumped off my raft looked around and

screamed oh no!

Louis was gone he was not in the pool anymore!

Louis was my turtle and the only kind of animal my mom would let me get and I loved him very much.

Chapter Five The Weird Sound

I was about to walk out of the attic when I heard a scattering sound.

I was really scared and started to get goose bumps all over my body.

I saw little brown eyes coming from a brown moving box.

It stuck it’s head up and looked at me. It was a dog!

I walked closer and picked up the dog. I

looked down in the box and there was a food bowl with only two pieces of food left and

three drops of water left in the water bowl.

Next to all of that was a birth certificate that had the name Joney on it.

It said the owner of this dog is Rascall Bow and the date stamped said 1977. Why that was Quinn’s favorite tree’s name.

I was confused. It was 2010 which meant the

dog had been up here for a long time? Or was this from my friend Quinn?

Maybe my mom will let me keep him? I didn’t think Joney was a boys name so I

decided to change it to Rocky.

Rocky the dog barked and I thought that

probably meant he liked his new name.

I trained him for a while on his name until he

had mastered it, by barking back when I said his name ‘Rocky.

Chapter Six What will mom say?

When I went to pick up Rocky

he jumped out of the box so high.

I thought he could be in a dog competition. I bet he could earn some money some day but not now.

He will be getting to know the family.

I brought the dog downstairs and begged my mom to keep the dog.

My mom thought about it for a while

but then she said we do not have any real

animals so finally, my mom said yes we could keep the dog, but where did the dog come from ? Quinn? To be continued...

For now Me, Mom, Dad, Lauren, Louis and Rocky were one big happy family.

Where did that dog come from? Brents Mom

i am the most adorable golden retriever puppy in the whole world! that’s what I heard. Isn't he the cutest puppy, look how smart he is... well he is the most adorable puppy. I heard it over and over and over again.

It was not easy being such an adorable puppy. I dreamed of jumping, barking loudly, digging holes that were as big as me and i wanted to chase cats forever!

i Have a great desire to be that adorable puppy and except for a few mistakes on the kitchen rug and a few shoes that went missing, i did a good job. I was loved by everyone and it was worth being that adorable puppy.

as a puppy, being so smart and cute, i was chosen out of ten others for a special, life long job to make a young boy happy . it was said I was made for this kind of work. i was ready and very willing for my assignment. can you pick me out? i am the smart one!

A young girl named Quinn told me that i was a secret. I had to help a young boy feel better. He had moved away from all of his friends. he was very nervous and sad. i thought we will have a lot in common because i also miss my friends. but i was very willing to help.

quinn said, “I am going to put you in this box with food, water with a note so that only my friend brent will know you came from me.” i hope that he remembers rascall bow was the name of our favorite tree. Now Don’t be afraid it will only be for a short while... be brave. i smiled. Brave is my middle name!

Rascall Bow

1977

i heard foot steps coming closer. excited, i began bouncing in the box so hard that it was moving. the box top flew open and that was the first time i saw my new, life long friend brent. he was so happy to see me that he screamed. it was such a frightful sound that I jumped clear out of the box! Next thing i knew i was in the arms of brent being rushed down the stairs to meet the rest of the family.
