Professional Development

Welcome to

+ From Dr. Emily Weiskopf We are so excited about the new Professional Development Catalog for 2014-2015. The courses that appear in this catalog support all Clay County employees as we work to improve teaching and learning for the academic success of our students.

Please take the time to review all of the Learning Tracks offered in this catalog. You do not have to take all courses in a track but we encourage you to consider taking more than one, as each track is designed to foster community building and collaboration.

The Clay County School District is on the edge of great things with the adoption of the Florida Standards and the movement towards standards based instruction and the studentcentered classroom.

All course registration will be managed through Navigator Plus.

The courses in this catalog have been planned to support our three district initiatives of Writing, Engagement and Professional Learning communities.

We wish you the best as you begin this school year. We are here to support you in the most important work of all, TEACHING!
