All works which were done during this project are a reflection of my mind and inspiration from words and the place which have been selected by me during the project. Works are made with love to the Brompton Cemetery.

BROMPTON CEMETERY Brompton Cemetery is one of the oldest and most distinguished garden cemeteries in Britain. Brompton Cemetery’s principal buildings were designed by Benjamin Baud, under the influence of his long association with royal architect Sir Jeffry Wyatville. For me Brompton Cemetery is one of the favorite places in London. It means a lot to me. I come here to think, to dream, to read a book or just listen to the silence, when I have the opportunity to do so. I took over a thousand pictures of Brompton Cemetery for the project. You can see them on the following pages.
First of all I want to say that I did a lot of research on the chosen words topic. But for this project I used only my understanding of the meaning of these words. This means that in all cases you will not see another point of view.
ATROCITY - CRUELTY, VIOLENCE, CRIME, EVIL AUDACITY - COURAGE, BOLDNESS, INSOLENCE DOMESTICITY - FAMILISM, THE NEPOTISM ETHNICITY - APPEARANCE, ETHNICITY MULTIPLICITY - VERSATILITY, DIVERSITY CONCENTRICITY - CONCENTRATION, DENSITY RAPACITY - GREED, COVETOUSNESS SIMPLICITY - NAIVETE, PRIMALITY, SIMPLE FORMS SYNCHRONICITY - SYNCHRONISM, COINCIDENCE HISTORICITY - HISTORY, ANCIENT TIMES, KNOWLEDGE
ATROCITY My improvisation on the theme of evil. With this work, I bridge the subject matter of and the word, and showed how I feel the theme. I used a stencil, sponge and gouache. Then I processed the picture in Photoshop.
DOMESTICITY Taking a walk through the cemetery, I noticed that many of the graves are in a row. In the beginning I did not pay attention to this but during this project, I decided to take a closer look. Most of these groups families. Moreover, you can see the visual difference between the grave of father and mother.
ETHNICITY It was very difficult to choose the best job for this word. I think that the ethnic group is best shown in this work.
MULTIPLICITY “LIFE - IS A SERIES OF REPEATED EVENTS IN WHICH EITHER YOU LOOKING FROM THE OUTSIDE, EITHER PARTICIPANT. ONLY YOU DECIDE WHEN TO STOP.” I decided to show life in this way. Everyone chooses his own.
CONCENTRICITY The words on this poster were taken from the grave. The font was also created by me for this project. Here you can see as the number of graves pierces by lightning as home. This is the road. The path of life. My vision of words.
RAPACITY My improvisation on the theme of greed. As it was with the ATROCITY work here I showed how I feel the theme. I used the same materials and processing technology as in the ATROCITY work
SYNCHRONICITY This is the one of my most favorite works during this project. I love this place in the cemetery. With this work I wanted to show not only the relationship between the selected word and place, but also my vision of this place. The basic technology for the creation of this pattern is a collage.
HISTORICITY During the research of the cemetery I drew my attention to the fact that quite a surprising number of famous people are buried in this cemetery. So I decided to paint portraits of some people. In order to add some historicity in works the portraits were made by technology where used only one line without interruption of pen from the paper.
AUDACITY I believe that boldness is not only in actions but also in the choice of color. Here I have tried to show that there is not only gray, black and white. The idea is that the grave does not have to be gray. To create this work, I used the Kamoi Paper “Washi adhesive tapes. Also I was inspired by these tapes in order to create this work.
SIMPLICITY So much meaning in simple words. In order to create this work I used words from “Abide with Me which are written by Henry Francis Lyte. Also, which is more important I found these words written on the grave. Moreover I took my font from last project.
